- In a stunning move, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has called for a snap general election to be held on July 4th, 2024 - a day that coincides with American Independence Day. Sunak claimed the early election was necessary to "secure a renewed mandate" after taking over as PM last year following Liz Truss's brief tenure.

What's wrong with getting wet in rain? It can be fun !!!! Many many people find getting wet in rain fun far more convenient and easier than having to bring along a silly umbrella everywhere. How exactly do the Brits take a bath? Not with an umbrella I hope? Rishi standing in a rain and getting wet ... all alone without an umbrella is quite a powerful statement actually, of one who is getting ready for a fight. Have you ever seen a warrior standing in a raining battle field with an umbrella? He would have looked extremely silly with any umbrella. Moreover, if you call that rain, you haven't seen one really. Clearly if the Rishi getting wet in rain is a higher priority with the media when elections were being announced then I truly feel sorry for the British voters for having to suffer and put up with such a sorry and a feeble media. Hard to believe that people actually get paid for all this drivel on TV shows. All the best to the British on their elections and may the best candidate win.
A third of elected politicians in Britain’s ruling Conservative Party have received funding from pro-Israel lobby groups, it has emerged.
Declassified reported on Thursday that 126 of the party’s 344 Members of Parliament (MPs) have accepted funding from pro-Israel lobby groups.
The funds amount to over £430,000 ($547,000) in donations and hospitality. The lobby groups have paid for Conservative MPs to visit Israel on 187 occasions, some of which included trips to the occupied Palestinian territories.
