I find it funny that they took the two hero’s with the strongest moral compasses, actually wrote them well. Then fumbled the ball by saying “no the guy letting supervillains loose is the one in the right.”
It really feels like an editor or someone higher up told the writer that Tony was actually supposed to be in the right the whole time, and they just didn't get the message until it was way too late to actually make Tony in the right at all
...and then the police officers who you just planted yourself against knock you down, tase you, then arrest you for getting in their way. Witty and/or inspiring quotes only get you so far.
This will always be one of the best hero speeches. The way they did this in EMH was fantastic, with Pete asking if he could be caps sidekick. It's also genuine solid advice for real life that's pretty rare in modern comics. Great video Fernando.

This is why Captain America will always be the greatest avenger and hero of the marvel universe. There’s just something about the way that he does speeches and inspires a lot of the other heroes to raise up to the occasion. If you look at how superman can be in inspiration as well and even how Optimus prime inspires his own team. Cap is definitely up there when it comes to motivational speeches and even during the crossover event between the avengers and the justice league, superman even respects the star-spangled man so much that he gives him the keys to lead both teams into battle.

Cap and Calrk's creators were immigrants who saw evil incarnate itself and gain a grasp on the world for a moment. Cap was made to mock what that evil believed in and turned what it believed to be "superior" into someone who stood for righteousness. Clark was created because his creators wanted to inspire those who endured the great depression that struck the country, when the common man was seen as less and treated worse, and that that man can be more and has the potential to be more and with the years going by Clark's symbol became more as the world needed him to be. And for Optimus, his creators intended for him to be modeled after Abraham Lincoln, we know him as the great emancipator and if you read on his history, Abraham came from humble beginnings where was treated just as much a slave by his own father as the black people were, it was some of these traits he had, as well as his way with words that formed the foundation for Prime's character, the final touch that gave Optimus Prime life and made him into the inspiration we know him as was Larry Cullen's words to Peter before his audition that to be a REAL hero and not some Hollywood pretend hero that Peter should "Be strong enough to be gentle" these characters may be fiction, but they were written by real people and it's why we love them and try to embody what they stand for

I don’t think individual is the right word. I mean at what point in your life do you purely exist as an individual? From the moment your born your a son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter. Later in life your a boyfriend or girlfriend, a husband or wife, father or mother. I don’t think we are individuals I think we are families who form interconnected communities.

Moments like this are superb, remember that heroes are not only about raw power, is about doing what is right, no matter what it takes. Sadly, the same cannot be said about politicians, they who should be servants and managed to be taken as saviors, idols, gods.
This is exactly why in my opinion Cap was right in the Civil War because being a hero is about doing what is right, simply because it is the right thing to do and you are capable of doing it. But once the heroes become the governments attack dogs they are no longer fighting for what is right but instead they are fighting for the agenda of whoever is currently in power.
Im pretty sure in the ultimate serie of comics , Cap , reluctantly, when the country was in in shambles, became president for a short time. It was pretty good/funny. Loved ultimates serie, so good.
My only critique (and take it for what it is as I’m just some schmuck) was when he said “no, you move,” it was done in a way a father would tell his kid to move off a seat of a bus to let an elderly woman sit. The moment calls for more emphasis on the “you” part. “No.. *you* move.” Aside from that, great voice acting!
Honestly Civil War had a lot of great moments. I honestly wish we saw more of Cap and Spidey in the MCU because this would have been great. Now when it comes to secret invasion, idk if this is real Cap or skrull cap.
He already has Batman's respect and that is telling... I can only imagine that even Superman might come to him for advice and guidance at times... because he is a moral and honorable man, perhaps the most honorable one.

If you've been reading comics long enough you realize that this IS how Spider-Man is. He couldn't articulate it the way Cap does and he usually doesn't see himself like that but that's him to the core.... until the Blight that is the ending of One More Day.

Some of those stories are really long and probably have extra editing just for the voiceovers, this one felt special and like @fernandocomics was doing this for a particular reason

Knowing Cap's personality, I would expect him to be a voracious reader to catch up on all that happened while he was in suspended animation, to constantly expand his knowledge and stay current now, and because he has an inquisitive mind that never wants to stop learning.
This is why captain America can lead the Avengers without the crazy powers that guys like Thor have. Man knows how to give a speech. Not sure about the spiderman voice tho are these AI voices?

People forget: You have a right to demand it, but it also means you have a responsibility to deserve it. People keep talking about freedom and everyone's rights. But they shun everything that makes our civilization. Economy, politics, controversy, geography, logistics, structure. Captain takes the fundamental part to heart. The individual. In order to tackle the more complicated problems we face. It's us at the core that is the problem to everything we make.
