Okay chums the Damierlicious collection has officially been launched on March 15, 2024! It’s so interesting seeing people on Reddit (who are not from North America) not being a fan of this collection. I do agree it’s a very “seasonal” collection but I think that makes it more unique in its own way.

I preordered the On the Go. LOVE IT! I love the pistache color way. Picked up the Romy wallet as well but I don’t think I keep that.
The interior of the On the Go is not a mint color it is the robins egg blue. And only came in MM no PM. The colors are very soft. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it in person. It is untreated vachetta. Little nervous about that.
I think the pistache color way goes well both spring and winter where as the peche is very spring summer esque! But omg May I ask why you’re thinking of returning the romy??
@@maggyxchuu I use a Recto Verso as my everyday wallet so during the preorder I thought I would stick with that. I believe at the time the victorine was unavailable which I thought would be good to have. While the front pocket is fairly useless on the Recto the Romy almost looks unfinished. Not sure how to describe, it just feels off.
@@DIDI-LYFE thank you for your input! I was debating on getting the recto verso but I wish they had it in more color options. Still on the hunt for another flat card holder that can fit a lot :)

This collection is super cute! I enjoyed watching your reaction! ❤ The colors are gorgeous. I prefer the blue/green colorway because there’s more contrast between the colors and the creamy background. The peach colorway is low contrast and doesn’t pop as much to me.
See I love the yellow interior of the peche one more, if they made the pistache more green mint as opposed to blue mint I would lean towards that one, but they’re both so fun and well done! Wish there were more SLGs like a key cles or something 🥹

Went in and saw this collection in person. OTG was sold out, but NF was still available. The colors are darker, less pastel in person than in the promo photos, so I passed. The navy carry all is soooo pretty! I don’t like the regular carry all because of the ribbon bow, having a tag is perfect!
Oh interesting that’s good to know… I wasn’t expecting darker 🤔 I definitely need to see it in person myself 🤔🤔

I love the Métis but I don’t think it’s going to look nice once the vachetta goes dark brown, I can’t see dark vachetta suiting the pretty pastel colour.
That’s why I wish they pre patina’d all the pieces just so it won’t get as dark or uneven, what a waste 😭

I went to the store last Friday at my local LV and check out this collection as well. Since I sold my neverfull GM last year, so I desperately need neverfull. So I got the neverfull MM, love the color in person, it looks very peachy than pink. Plus the price is only $70 more than the regular MM …. So why not 😂😂
See I love that the price isn’t too much more for a limited edition piece where as others are like $300 more just for being a different color! But so happy you got it hehe just in time for the warmer weather coming up ✨

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulux* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅
