At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *preluxz* . Hi Maggie!! I think you should still get your micro Djoy. From what I got from those videos it wasn’t ALL of Dior’s products being made that way but a very specific list. Strange. Still unacceptable but you could feel at ease knowing your micro Djoy wasn’t made by that dishonorable labor. Dior is also one of my favorite brands. I do feel that I will continue to buy Dior because of my love for the brand and its heritage! All of our favorite brands have been found guilty of this at some point 😢. I believe this was a careless oversight and poor management of Dior rather than dior implicitly looking for sweat shop labor as the factory it is referring to produces for a ton of brands!

I have a suspicion it could be totes and small slgs that would be simple to make, potentially with cheaper fabrics (like nylon). But I think I did see a block for making a Lady Dior in one of the videos. I only have 3 items from the brand (including a Lady Dior), and since they've gone under the radar in my circles in the 3 years I've owned them, they'll be sticking around my wardrobe. If your out there trying to figure out if someone's bag is real who are you the prise police? So If you can get a really nice fake one then why not? I have been back and forth on the Heloise vs Jodie. I like the texture Jodie adds to an outfit but it doesn't sit right on my shoulders. You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *jklux* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *preluxz* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. A lady Dior was on my wishlist. I finally got my two classic flaps so this was going to be the year I got a lady… I’m actually glad I didn’t get it yet. I would be so embarrassed to carry it after finding out about the slave labor. Totally ruined Dior for me. I still find the bag beautiful, but to carry one would make me feel gross. People matter more than bags. I’m drawn to luxury because I *thought* they took special care of their products and crafters. Now I see Dior as just as tacky as SHEIN.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.
If you want to match different clothes, you may even need several bags with different styles or colors. You don’t want the bags to not match the clothes you are wearing, right? *gtdupe*

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *preluxz* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I have two pre-loved *jklux* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *jklux* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. A lady Dior was on my wishlist. I finally got my two classic flaps so this was going to be the year I got a lady… I’m actually glad I didn’t get it yet. I would be so embarrassed to carry it after finding out about the slave labor. Totally ruined Dior for me. I still find the bag beautiful, but to carry one would make me feel gross. The way I see it. Real or fake if it's a style I like then I like it and will buy it. But to me the *preluxz* one looks better than the real one. And who's gonna be inspecting ladies purses. If your out there trying to figure out if someone's bag is real who are you the prise police? So If you can get a really nice fake one then why not? I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.
If you want to match different clothes, you may even need several bags with different styles or colors. You don’t want the bags to not match the clothes you are wearing, right? *gtdupe*
