Thank you very much for the opportunity to listen to this wonderful microphone. I have a question: what is the difference in sound between cm4 and om1 and which one sounds better in your opinion? Thank you
I think the overall sound is reasonable. There seems to be a clipping in the right channel listening to my iFi Zen with Sennheiser HD598. Some years ago I tried the OM-1's through a Studer C279 as medium field, Cascades 20u as near field and Sontronics LD omni's, the Cascades did very well on contemporary works and Steinway D
Do he still send you directly? His website say no longer do direct sell and need to contact the dealers but I live in Malaysia which isn't in the dealers list. But for field recordings, should I just use Sennheiser MKE 440 stereo mic which just simply a 3.5mm mic with 2 triple AAA batteries, , or there will be quality differences if I build my own 2 mics pair like how you did? Should I get omni or cardioid version for that?

They both sound amazing for their price range.
Om1 is an Omni and CM4 is a cardiod.
