Nostalgia Critic did it. Sean should too. Plus he should do movies he hate but everybody else loves. Like GOTG2

Uncut Gems is an absolute masterpiece and got snubbed at the oscars...
You're absolutely right
I've only seen Uncut Gems once, but I absolutely pretend to see it again sometime. That being said,I tought the movie was just "alright". Not bad,not a masterpiece by any means, just an alright movie
I couldn't agree more. At least Adam Sandler won the Spirit Award.
the white moms went to an adam sandler movie expecting jack and jill 2 but instead that got so anxious that they had to speak to the amc manager, which is literally the point of the movie, it’s trying to make people anxious so when they say there was too much anxiety it’s a good thing
Jar Jar Binks and it’s fucking beautiful
Loving the cool new, different content during quarantine.
Ya
I do to
Thanks so much. This could have been a very difficult time, but as I've pivoted, everyone has moved with me. I really appreciate it.
Sean Chandler Talks About fr, this a great video. I really like content like this. It’s too bad you don’t get more views on the less mainstream videos
I like about 48% of TLJ
I didn’t mind them killing Snoke, cause Kylo Ren was always the main baddie. I didn’t mind that Rey was a nobody, cause that meant the Force can just flow inside anyone. What I really hated though, was how the movie handled Rose. Why did she need to teach Finn that war is bad? He was a stormtrooper from childhood for crying out loud
This. And the rushed nature of Luke's explanation of his failure with Ben/Kylo. These are the things that irk me the most about the film. Improve these, and it's pretty solid.
yeah she sucks
By the 9th movie Disney realized they created such a shitstorm that they just gave the fuck up and basically said “fuck you” to the first 6 films. I could rant for hours about the new trilogy.
@@nightfighter2879 yeah....
wait who was that again?
So audiences don’t like Uncut Gems because Adam Sandler actually decided to give a good performance for once? Makes sense
FroggyBlades he’s pretty great in punch drunk love imo
I would like but it’s at 66
I thought uncut gems was a great movie. Not one of my favorite movies Adam Sandler stars in but definitely his best performance
Here is a list for the people that dont have time to watch:

9.Captain Marvel
8. It Comes at Night
7. Hail, Caeser

5. Annihilation
4. Uncut Gems
3. Noah and Mother (2 different movies)
2. Drive
1. Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

What’s the moral of the story?
If your movie is actually a dark character study, don’t market it as a fast paced action movie!
and people should leave expectations at the door and judge the movie on its own merits
Iperial Android still, marketing is important
UA-cam Surfer yes! Because you have to get the butts in the seats first
I think they know that already, im pretty sure Hollywood knows everything they're doing wrong, they just dont care because they just the seats to be filled they know more people would rather go to faced paced movie than a slow one
@Nathan Slay - Doesn’t apply to this, but it sounds like Nightcrawler you’re describing...
I think Ad Astra is the most underrated movie of 2019.
The cinematography is breathtaking, the acting is great, the music by Max Richter is wonderful. Also the story was very personal, slow-moving and emotional and I loved it.
I can totally see why people didn't enjoy it as much as I did though. The movie was poorly marketed with way too much spectacle and action in the trailer that mislead most people into going to see this movie. Me too. But I liked what I got at the theater even though I expected something very different.
Good take. I didn't see Ad Astra but I would probably like to see it sometime.
Completely agree. One of my favs from 2019. I went in with the wrong expectations too, but I still loved what I got.
Jonas Music I think it’s a good looking movie but a boring one
@@mariogamefreak1 Meh, I was enthralled by the film. I can definitely see why people could consider it boring though.

I have to be honest, Ad Astra was a really good movie, it depends on your taste of film. Ad Astra is a slow pace movie and also very deep between the characters and the distant connection between the main character and his father & wife.

I'm very glad you mentioned Uncut Gems Sean because that movie brought back many flashbacks of when I was working at the Theatre when it came out.
I remember working at a Theater and absolutely adoring the movie. I remember talking all my friends into watching it and they hated it and some fell asleep during the movie. I was devastated.
After that I was so dissapointed that they didn't like it that everytime another customer would ask me what Uncut Gems was about, I would say "I don't know it has Adam Sandler and The Weekend in it though".
I feel bad for Sandler. I didn't watch it, but I feel sorry for the guy b/c he's trying something new and gets snubbed at the Oscar's.
@@jacindaellison3363 Yeah it was great movie. And Sandler was giving his best performance though. Also Kevin Garnett was great in this movie.
I'm surprised I didn't know it was hated by the audience I thought most people either loved it or enjoyed it, but there are so many people that love his new comedies and were probably disappointed that there was no lazy jokes thrown throughout
@@aaronrumph3291 guess so. I like Tyler Perry's Madea movies, except for Boo and No body's Fool, another one of his other movies. However, he was good in Gone Girl, even winning an award for best supporting actor. If he wanted yo try something else, by all means do. Just make it right.
@@jacindaellison3363 Omg I hate Tyler Perry movies. They are so lazily written.
I’m one of those people that initially loved The Last Jedi, but then over time came to realize that it was pretty mediocre.
To be fair most Star Wars movies are mediocre and that is coming from someone that actually loves every one of the main Star Wars movies.
I thought last jedi was alright when I came out. Honestly I hate it now
I love it more and more each time I watch it.
StrikingViper same
First time I saw it, thought it was a solid 8 or even a 9. My friends were lukewarm at first (most turned out to hate it) but it was my Dad that I saw it with who was the first that didn't like it. He definitely didn't hate it or anything, he just was so disinterested in it and it was the first ever Star Wars film that he was disappointed in. On my 2nd watch in cinemas I noticed things I somehow was oblivious to or forgot on my first watch like the whole Canto Bight and other plots. After each rewatch it got worse and now I really don't like I just think it's the most incompetently made film in the franchise everything from the dialogue, pacing, editing, plot structure (4c plots is never a good idea), most of the character work and then actual plots and humor I don't think worked at all. I actually thought it was going to be the other way round and the audience would have liked it and critics hate it but I totally understand why they don't with the direction that it took. Usually, I just take what a film gives me unless if it's such an obvious blatant contradiction to something and there wasn't a massive one for me until Rise of Skywalker though there were some stuff in Force Awakens I found hard to get past and accept (some of which I still haven't) and didn't like the direction of that film which set up everything with how it went, but yeah I do get why people see it in Last Jedi. For me it still has some highs that I can watch but the lows are real low and I zone out and want to skip a massive amount of the movie
Critics liked The Last Jedi because they didn’t spend the two years between films writing conspiracy theories on plots that didn’t matter.
When TLJ is your favorite Star Wars...
The entire fanbase: "It's treason then!"
7:19 Sean's rant on 'Mortal Combat: Annihilation' has got to be one of the funniest things I've seen on his channel.
A few I can think of at the top of my head.
1.Oculus
2. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ( I know the audience score is not bad for this but almost every casual audience member I know didn't really like it)
3. Unbreakable
4.The Village (Another M Night Movie)
5. The Thing (Although to be fair when it was first released critics crapped on it)
6. The Nightingale
7. A Clockwork Orange
A Clockwork Orange? I thought audiences loved that as well.
@@jblitz1556 I think when it first came out alot of audiences didn't like Clockwork Orange.
@IntoSpace Nightingale is a great movie but it fits into that category of people having a tolerance for certain scenes. Alot of people don't like watching rape scenes.
Oculus is a horror masterpiece, in my opinion
@IntoSpace Yeah there is overly drawn out rape scene in the first Act of the movie. I still liked the movie. It's on Hulu. But I just skip those scenes now.
I think the biggest problem/difference between audience and critics is that critics rate the movie as a movie and the audience rate it as a movie of a franchise. Best example is the last jedi. It's good as a movie but not so good as a star wars movie.
Dieconis i disagree. I think some of the incompetent writing and narrative are worst than any fanboy complaints. While I’m not crazy with some of the character choices, I would’ve been fine with it if the movie was actually good.
Dieconis this really needed to be said. I don’t like the movie personally but I can still recognize that it is a well made movie that explores interesting themes. fanboys think because they don’t like what they did with the characters = movie bad
I personally think it has glaring issues even when removed from Star Wars regarding its writing. Namely with Po and Finn's stories.
Guys. My comment wasn't about star wars and if it's good or not. Actually what I tried to say is that critics rate movies different than the average audience or the fans (imo) . Star wars was just a example
Cuties should be on this list
Critics: 87%
Audience:6%
I really liked TLJ when I watched it in theatre, I was like it's star wars it's good (except Rose) but after 1 year maybe I was a lot different kind of fan ( after exploring expended universe, watching CW...) I rewatched movie and hated literally every decision Rian Jonson made. As Sam Witwer said it's like he didn't do his Star Wars homework.
Same, I initially liked it the first time I saw it, the 2nd time in cinemas I noticed things I was completely oblivious to and then after each subsequent watch it got worse and worse for me. I was actually surprised that the critics liked The Last Jedi because I didn't find it well made at all. The dialogue, pacing, editing, plot structure, mos of the character work and the actual plots and humor I don't think worked at all. I actually thought it was going to be the other way round and the audience would have liked it but I totally understand why they don't with the direction that it took. Usually, I just take what a film gives me unless if it's such an obvious blatant contradiction to something and there wasn't a massive one for me until Rise of Skywalker though there were some stuff in Force Awakens I found hard to get past and didn't like the direction of that film which set up everything with how it went, but yeah I do get why people see it in Last Jedi. I don't like it because I think it's incompetently made but I definitely get the other point why most don't like it
Josh Needle Clearly he ignored their advice and tried to make a political state with a Star Wars movie instead.
@@JNeedleVids That's kind of the point being made though. Sure that's Apparently what he did so maybe he did do he homework but the end result certainly doesn't back that claim up.
Frankie Ortiz I have been a huge Star Wars fan my whole life, and the whole sequel trilogy is just a slap in the face to the older fans because they kill all of our favorites but yet can’t kill of any new characters. They make Luke into the opposite of what he is in the original movies. And they completely ignore the chosen one prophecy and Anakin.
Frankie Ortiz it does not fit Luke’s character for him to give up like that
Drive is a masterpiece. How do people not like it
Gee, I never realized how important the marketing of a film is. But if audiences don't get what they thought they would get, they're gonna be a little unhappy about how they spent their money.
I liked The Last Jedi I would give it about a 8.5 and it’s out of all 11 movies 7th to me it’s not bad. I quit liked some of it like Rey, Luke and Kylo. ( Though TROS is a lot better and 3ed to me.) But regardless I liked the film. And this is from a huge Star Wars fan🤷♂️
Michael S but it has no tie ins to rise of skywalker and went a completely different direction
@Tooms That’s not true, Luke became a Jedi at the end of TLJ again. Kylo Ren was still a mess in The Force and it just took Leia to finally push him over the edge. Palpatines manipulations make sense, The same theme exists too, where it’s accepting your family but growing beyond them. They fit fine.🤷♂️
I don’t love the film or hate it. It’s simply alright. TROS was better. But I respect your opinion 😂
Michael S for me it’s sadly not possible to like this movies they are too much non sense dumb cringe moments they are basically disrespecting the other movies
@Jerom How dose it disrespect the other movies out of interest? If your talking about Luke then I’m my opinion your wrong. Luke finally had a arc in the movies. He was not just a clean rounded hero he had more depth. ( I do hate Haldo and Rose though we can agree on that. They were terrible new characters.)
I loved the Last Jedi but I can understand why some people may not like it. I just don’t like how the hate has gone so far as to make it impossible to talk about Star Wars without having an argument about this film
As a non Star wars fan myself, I don’t really get its themes and logic but I definitely loved the 3rd act with Luke vs Kylo ren, which is why I prefer this movie over any live action remakes except Christopher Robin and Jungle book
I am honestly not a fan of the Last Jedi, but I can understand why people do like it. I didn’t like some of the choices the director made, such as the Mary Poppins scene with Leia. I feel like it would’ve made it a lot more meaningful if Leia died and Kylo didn’t pull the trigger. Also Rose and Finn’s adventure nearly screwed the whole rebellion. Also Finn’s sacrifice would’ve made complete sense. In my opinion they completely wasted Captain Phasma again. That being said, the visuals are really good.
I was so surprised that the critics liked The Last Jedi because I didn't find it well made at all. I don't like it because I think it's incompetently made but I get the other point and I can also understand how people love it. Most of the visuals are great though, despite a couple shots that bug me and pull me out like the timelapse and clothing iron for example
Literally every comment in a video criticizing The Last Jedi is about how they think people who like the movie are stupid and should die. It’s incredibly insulting and annoying.
I enjoyed it, and I also could understand why people don't like it. However, the majority of people who didn't like it tell people who liked it that they are wrong and I'm just here like 'Be happy they're still making movies for us to watch at all'
Captain Marvel is pretty good if you ignore the drama around it
Abdolutely love uncut gems

zoom, the most original comment ever.
Beastmode1127, the problem is she said, "40 year old white men". Sean, what editing software do you use?
I really enjoyed the last Jedi, I watched it last night for the first time and loved it
Official Coleslaw Same here
Nah it was terrible.
Alex youtube channel respectable, why didn’t you like it?
Official Coleslaw while I don’t hate it, it is extremely disappointing to me at least. It was to similar to Empire, while being to decisive at the same time. It contradicts Star Wars multiple times with Hyperspace especially. Multiple characters are ruined or underdeveloped, and a lot of the older characters are treated poorly. I’m fine with people liking it, but I just can’t get behind it.
SaxMemes explain how characters are ruined or underdeveloped
I love the last Jedi but I recognize it’s flaws like fin and rose is so stupid they don’t need rose to teach the person who was kidnapped as kid and force to be a stormtrooper that war is bad he already knows. However what they did with Luke is just so amazing and it’s the second best directed Star Wars film (first in the sky walker saga). It my third favorite Star Wars movie but I admit it has flaws
DaVinci 3 they ruined luke from such an innocent kid then to the jedi master that saw good in his father to a guy that sees darkness in ben and tries killing him, they set him up decently from the last film then that ruined it
How come you liked how they handled Luke? I personally didn’t agree with it but to each their own
KaliN9ne I just like how they came up with a great new character arc. If they had just kept him as some wise mentor who train Rey on an island just like yoga it still wouldn’t be that good. And the very end when Luke walks out on to the battle field is so epic. Not only that but he saved everyone and ended the conflict in a non violent way just as they Jedi ‘s are supposed to be
DaVinci 3 honestly I wasn’t against the themes and Luke’s arc, it was more so the execution. For example when Luke threw his lightsaber over his shoulder it felt so unnecessary, just to get a laugh out of people. If anything I would imagine him asking where the lightsaber came from and perhaps dropping it afterward, but the brainless execution at times was a bit annoying. Overall I think the movie is just okay but had some missed opportunities. I do agree that the final scene with Luke facing Kylo was pretty awesome though.
@@davinci3478 Nah they ruined Luke. I can get him nearly killing Kylo. It was almost instinctive, that's why he stopped himself. What I can't get though is why he then went to live on an island by himself for 8 years whilst his friends were all dying because of his mistake. That's far too big a leap in character. What would have been far more interesting a trilogy is if we start the films with Luke and his Academy. Then the trilogy is about Luke redeeming himself after his lapse in Judgement.
I’ll never stop defending The Last Jedi. Is it the best Star Wars film? No. But it is a very fun, beautifully shot film. I really like it and I’m not ashamed to say it.
Yes me too. I love TLJ.
This is the way
I love it too. It's my 10th favorite of the 11 star wars films, but I still love it
I actually really don’t like it, but I don’t mind when other people like stuff that I don’t.

The Last Jedi an underrated gem. Definitely not perfect or the best Star Wars movie. But definitely good.
My favorite Star Wars movie is Episode 5 but Episode 8 is my second favorite Star Wars Movie.
Eww

You don't have to like TLJ. But please just let people have their fun with this movie. I'm sure that you also like something that I don't like. But I won't judge you for it.
I wouldn’t say critics loved Captain Marvel. The best review I saw was mediocre at best
Probably most critics thought it was just alright
So fun fact, I said i liked "The Last Jedi" online and these group of guys went out of their way to find my phone number somehow, and began harassing me constantly. I then pressed charges against them and one of them is actually in prison now because he apparently harassed 20+ for liking it. Idk how he's gonna survive in prison but if he ever gets out, he'll probably go online and say 'Ruin Johnson put me in prison!'
I’ve been waiting for this!!! Stay safe Chandler family!
Crystal Skull is just like any other Indiana Jones Movie it just didn’t come out in the 80s. It sadly came out in the 2000s and people forgot what Indiana Jones truly was.
No because Indiana Jones is most about Indiana Jones believing in a God all three of the previous movie had that in its core. Crystal Skull is just aliens.
Reincarnated Pewdiepie The Temple of Doom was not about believing in god. The Crystal skull is a cheesy fun story about a crazy artifact that Indy is racing to find before bad guys. Just like all the others. My only problem with it is since cgi is a bigger thing now they relied on it too much.
@@huntergroffin1226 The stones had a religious purpose to the native people. Also the bad guys even state that with all 5 stones they will destroy the Hebrew God and others.
It also had the least suggestive content, something I could appreciate. And Indy actually married the woman this time rather than play games and forget she even existed by the time the next one came out.
Indy 5: Mariam is nowhere to be seen. Let's marry another woman instead.

Me: gooooood
I’ve only seen the last Jedi once and I remember loving the movie. It was one of those movies that I actually remember being surprised watching and a movie that got genuine jaw dropping moments for me.
I went in expecting a mediocre Star Wars movie because I see Jeremy Jahn’s review and he himself even said he doesn’t know how he feels about this movie and that he needed to rewatch it before he gave his review. I remember leaving the theater and getting something much better than I expected.
I didn’t realize that people hated it till I went online a saw people hating on it and I was like “what the hell why does everyone hate this movie so much”. Over time I’ve been confused about how I feel about this movie now, scared to have a positive opinion of it because any slightly positive opinion of it gets people angry but I don’t know how I feel about it now and I don’t really feel like rewatching it. I remember telling someone I hated it but I don’t think I really meant that because I constantly find myself defending it.
I don’t know, maybe I’ll rewatch it and find myself agreeing with the audience members but right now I don’t know how I feel about it, I would say I agree with critics because when I watched it for the first and only time I know I agreed with critics but I just don’t know how I feel about it now
David Baines I didn’t hate the movie but I really disliked what they did which Luke and then the whole plot with Finn and rose because it was so pointless and boring
David Baines don’t allow yourself to be a slave to other people’s opinion, there was a huge amount of people who loved this movie, it’s just that the other half is louder and that other half is Luke skywalker fans who hate on the movie because apparently the movie ruined the character and the death of the character pissed them off too, so then of course they find any other little small thing to attack the movie for.
Aditya Prasad yeah the subplot with Finn and rose is the only thing I can confidently say I dislike about the movie. I don’t think they ruined Luke’s character like everyone says, the alien titty milk scene was unnecessary and I have no idea why they included it but other than that I don’t feel like they ruined Luke’s character
David Baines exactly, be proud of your opinion and rep it loud!!!!
Every Star Wars movie that isn't the original trilogy is going to get hate, the sequels more so because they directly relate to the heroes we know and love, every single one of the sequel trilogy movies has been very divided Sean could have easily just said number one the Star Wars sequel Trilogy and no one would have objected
Hey Sean, I am new to the channel and I love the content. I think you should start a new series on the channel called Top 10 favourite movies by actor. For example Top 10 Jason Statham movies and Top 10 Tom Cruise movies. I think it would be a great addition to the channel. Keep up the good work and hope you reply.
Hey sean! Big fan of the channel. I have a noob question for you: which is more important for a movie in terms of visuals and iconic shots: the director or the cinematographer?
It's tough to say because every movie is different. But I would say the director. In theory the director is a part of hiring the DP and working with them to capture those shots.
Good question
when I check for RT scores, I'd rather take note on the audience scores.
0:35 hey I got my few seconds of fame!! Not that anyone cares. Lol
killer92173 congrats!!! Lol
killer92173 I care! Congratulations!😇😊😍 Can I get your autograph?!😍Lol
Congrats!
killer92173, congrats! Speaking of the time frame, why are people commenting Charlie and the chocolate factory? I guess a movie that stays true to the book is bad.
Audiences are more accurate more often. It's called wisdom of the crowd. Critics are far too often just bought off or threatened by studios
Uncut Gems was insanely terrific!
The only people that hated the last Jedi were Luke skywalker fans.
They were just made that they actually did something different with his character
*mad
Wtf does that even mean? I’m concerned if you like Star Wars and hate Luke. He’s the OG hero on the journey. Your supposed to relate to him as a character new to the world but get accustomed to it. I have a strong feeling that you and many others hate Luke just cause he’s a white male but please correct me if I’m wrong and give me your reasoning
mrawesome6144 no that’s not the reason at all, but just picture it. If Rey went to luke and he just trained her no problem like how Yoda did in Episode V that would have been the most boring and predictable shit ever. They changed it up a little by making him an old hermit that was in fear because of what happened and by him facing Kylo Ren at the end brings it all in full circle.
Justin Willis ahhhhh I messed up I thought y’all had a problem with episodes 1,2,3 Luke not older Luke. My problem with The Last Jedi wasn’t with Luke I mostly had a problem with the side stories and the character arcs. Although I did find Lukes death very disappointing. But I will never hate Luke.
I don’t see how critics love Last Jedi so much, especially with the whole mid act casino planet stuff, that was just bad film making that had no point to the overall plot
I remember falling asleep during that part even though I wasn't sleepy
I especially can't understand how they can give TLJ a better score than a masterpiece movie like Joker
Well they had to find the person Maz talked about to disable the Light Speed tracker thingy in the main First Order ship.
I don’t want to start conspiracy theories here but I am 99.9% sure that Disney paid critics or they were just playing a really bad joke on the public, when you do stuff like this, you have to be somewhat subtle and the fact that they called it “the best SW movie since Empire” makes it pretty damn obvious that they were payed, even its defenders don’t think that, unless they judged the movie based on its agenda instead of its quality (Look at how some of them gave Joker bad reviews, just because they felt that the movie was “dangerous”)
The dialogue was god awful as well. So many flat jokes
Love the channel as always keep it up💙
Uncut gems, Mother & Annihilation were all very good! 🔥People complain that all movies are the same but when someone does something different and interesting they complain anyway 😪
Let’s test it. I truthfully love the last Jedi and it’s my second favorite star wars movie. Bring on the hate
I thought the last Jedi was ok when I first watched it but as time goes on I found it kinda important too the rise of skywalker. I’m not saying I love the movie but I found it enjoyable
This is the way!
Jonas Music yup
Whaaat! As someone who went to see Uncut Gems how could people dislike it! It's phenomenal
the bear scene in annihilation is a classic though
Im surprised you didn't add Ghostbusters 2015. Was fresh on RT but everyone know how the audience felt.
Also Noah absolutely sucks and still pisses me off
I never felt my heart sinking in a theater like I did with Last Jedi. It's a good movie but a terrible star wars movie.
Tru, tho I still don't rank it as the worst one. Personally I enjoyed ROS even tho it was a mess lol
Triple D same. But I would put TLJ as the worst
who dat TFA was better
I honestly think the last Jedi gets overhated I'm not saying it's a great film but at least it's not the prequels
@@joeyvancleve4552 You're right. It's not the prequels. It's worse.
Could you make a similar list about TV-Shows
Love the video but for some reason I kept hearing a very slight beeping in the background and kept thinking things were happening around me
I am a big Star Wars fan and grew up with the original trilogy. I actually did a complete watch in chronological order of all the films (and the two side stories) and I stand my initial impression in the theater, which is that TLJ is amazing. In fact. I would say it ranks #3 for me in the franchise.
Really asshole?
@@alexyoutubechannel8175 Excuse me? Why call me a name because I differ in opinion? Grow up.
I honestly believe that the Last Jedi is the best sequel Star Wars movie. It has the heart, the action, the music, and the story that the other movies lack. In other words, it is the only sequel move that feels like there was some imagination or creativity being put into the movie.
I disagree with your first statement. The Last Jedi did so much that rubbed me the wrong way, especially with how they treated Luke. However, I do appreciate that this movie dared to be bold, and that’s one of the main reasons why I liked the original trilogy so much.
Ripro Lonect I can totally see why you don’t like how they treated Luke in the movie I am just fine with it personally.
Idgaf. “Mother” was good af! 😂
That quarantine beard is looking strong Sean! 💪
For marvelMonday: all mcu movies ranked on their comedic value
Ragnarok wins that
Sarah Rodrigues or ffh and homecoming
Most recently, Ad Astra.
Sean might not be the best with his video ideas, but he’s 100% the most original. Videos like this, streaming services ranked, and more prove that
Just a suggestion for a video but maybe do a video of top 5 or top 10 underrated movies.
No one cares because no one is changing anyones opinion but:
The Last Jedi is SOLID
The only Disney Star Wars movie that is actually forward thinking and doesn’t really too much on nostalgia. I love it
Yeah I liked the last Jedi
Loved it since day 1, don't get the hate.
List of bad things with the movie:
1. Snoke dies leaving the movie with no villain for episode 9
2. The casino scene is liturally useless and if u were to take it out of the film you would lose absolutly nothing
3. Plasma was just a wasted character
4. LUKE WOUD NEVER ACT LIKE THAT!!! HE'S LITURALLY THE GUY WHO BELIVED THAT DARTH VADER THE MOST EVIL GUY OF ALL TIME COULD STILL BE GOOD
5. Rose and Finn love angle was shit
6. Rose says in the beginning of the film you have to be willing to sacrifice for the resistance, and in the end she says not to by stopping Finn
7. Finn has no purpose in the film... he has no character development
8. Ray doesn't really get any training yet acts like one of the most skilled Jedi ever
9. That purple haired bitch had no reason to keep her plan a secret
10. Very long movie that does nothing with the overall story
11. It leaves episode 9 with absolutly nothing, inevitable that the ride of Skywalker would fail
List of pros:
1. Visual effects
2. Soundtrack
3. Kilo ren... the only good thing in this movie
Just saw the stream, congrats on 4 years!
Thanks
Sean Chandler Talks About Hey no problem man! Glad to know your in a much better place now
With Captain Marvel, I'm pretty sure the majority of the lower ranking was due to people scoring it low before it came out either trolling or because they thought it was too "feminist". I'm pretty sure they changed the rule on Rotten Tomatoes because of Captain Marvel, where it could not be reviewed by users until after the film came out.
1. Indiana Jones 4: Enjoyed, but feel it's out of place in the series
Captain Marvel: Enjoyed, not the best MCU film, feel it's overhated
It Comes at Night, Hail Ceasar!, Ad Astra, Annihilation, Uncut Gems, Mother & Drive: Haven't seen
Noah: Didn't see the whole movie to say final thoughts
The Last Jedi: Enjoyed, understand the decisive nature, and don't care what you all think about it
2. HOW IS MORTAL KOMBAT ANNIHILATION BETTER REVIEWED THAT ANNIHILATION!?
I actually really love Captain Marvel, it's funny, has nice action, and its definitely not the best mcu movie but in my opinion its was a pretty fun movie, i also never got the hate with brie larson, she's a pretty good actor and i feel like she did fine in this movie, i didnt read anything about it before going in so i didnt know about all of the controversy, if you put all the controversy aside tho and just watch it for what it is, then i feel like you'll appreciate it a little more
Most the Captain Marvel hate came from the Men's Rights Movement it wasn't about whether the movie was good or not but because the movie had the audacity to make a "female empowerment" movie and Larson being a feminist herself didn't help the matter also the trailer for it also really fueled that hate. Most people either liked it or just thought it was meh
It's controversy aside it was a very bland movie, and gave no feelings to the watcher
Female is called an *actress* not an *actor*
I thought it was entertaining but was unable to connect with her, the character wasn't really "human" she didn't really show emotions, and most of the Brie Larson hate comes from the actress herself, not her performance, but her as a person
Brie larson made it to where i didn't even want to watch it and i still haven't watched it
I agree with the Critics on almost all of these movies.
Including Indiana Jones 4?
@@amanms1999 That's a tough one. I still enjoy it and think it's overly hated but it's nowhere near the other Indiana Jones movies.
Daan van den Heuvel me too I would have to rewatch captain marvel to know for sure because I was meh on it and I haven’t seen Heil Caesar, Ad Astra, Noah and Mother!
Daan van den Heuvel and some days I will like Last Jedi and some days I’ll dislike it
@@jerrygodeep4787 I always hate the last jedi...makes no damn sense
I think you should also factor in box office performance. A lot of times, the vocal internet will largely condemn a film as terrible, but a large portion of the audience vote with their wallets and push it beyond what you'd expect if it was generally disliked.
Or vice versa. The critics will say that it's the best ever, but no one wants to watch it again and it underperforms.
Yout right like captain marvel..theh earn 1b dollar
I’ve been waiting for this and it was worth it
I can understand that people didn't like The Last Jedi, or, at least I can respect that. I loved it. But the amount of hate the people behind it got is just wrong. People need to calm down and be civil, even in disagreement. But they aren't.
The Good Prince Stephen Etchison I feel incredibly bad for the actress who played Rose. They need to realize that they are actual human beings you know.😞
Andrea Smeelie when I heard that, I was so frustrated. Whether or not people liked her character is one thing, but that was just wrong. But, funnily enough, I think Hayden Christensen said it best. The worst ones are also the loudest ones, but they are in the minority. I guess he had some experience with Star Wars hate.
The Good Prince Stephen Etchison sadly I’m sure too people didn’t like his acting as Anakin Skywalker.
Andrea Smeelie I didn’t really like his performance as Anakin. But nobody deserves that type of hate for a performance in a movie.
Listen I hate everything about that movie but give the people like rain Johnson a brake he’s a great filmmaker maybe he should’ve started the trilogy or done a spin-off instead though but people need to stop bullying the people who worked on the movie
Sean’s Videos = 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your content is just is just amazing as well as entertaining. You just gained a subscriber my friend.
You should do a list of your favourite actors
Everyone saw TLJ being at #1 coming, right? It’s even in the thumbnail for this vid.
The Last Jedi was taking the series in a different direction. I liked the film, but it’s not a perfect Star Wars movie. But Johnson did a great job, even if some parts of the story don’t make sense.
My opinion on it: Great movie, not so great Star Wars movie
@@gameplayxtreme3389 I agree with that
I went to see Hail, Caesar opening weekend because I love the cast as well as that first trailer (I even bought the trailer song on iTunes)! I haven’t seen it since because I remember not liking it, and someone in my audience row actually feel asleep...
I wish I knew your channel when it started.
I appreciate it
