Darth Marr is probably one of the few Sith Lords that earned honest respect from the Jedi, and this proves why

Darth Marr is the perfect Sith, he found balance in the dark side. Like Vectivus did millennia later.
Plus, I think he and Satele were an item. "Across the Stars" playing when his ghost showed up alongside Satele indicates as much.
