I'm trying to imagine someone like Sidious putting up with this bunch, and it always ends with him lighting them up like Christmas trees (Sithmas trees?) after the first five minutes.
Fantastic, I'm literally listening to Path of Destruction right now! (I'm on Chapter 25). I don't know what it is but I'm addicted to the Darth Bane trilogy and come back to it periodically. These parts of the book are also my favorite, I'm a big fan of the military side of Star Wars where strategy and the Force meet. The part where Lords Kopecz and Kaan are leading the Sith fleet in the First Battle of Ruusan with their Battle Meditation and Starfighters is sick. I can close my eyes and see it as clear as day 🔥
Khan was ultimately fighting an uphill battle by his own choice, focusing on mundane strategies over the Force and on suppressing individual ambition on those that draw their power from it. Mental exhaustion, isolation and desperation eventually eroded his judgement to the point where he chose the thought bomb.
I think it’d be cool to see a khan prequel novel. It could show how the brotherhood formed and ultimately show how the sith went from a united army seen in Swtor to a more “democratic” entity in banes era. I also think khan himself has an interesting story to tell
