Learn to sing in harmony with “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell - full tutorial

Hey, I’m Sylvia, and I’m passionate about harmony, and freeing the voice. This is a tutorial I made for my “Sing Again” community choir, to learn to sing in harmony with ‪@JoniMitchell‬ ‘s infamous song Both Sides Now. It’s quite challenging and rewarding due to the soaring and diving melody, and a great song for practicing singing with expression, because it’s about life’s hopes and joys as well as its disappointments. This arrangement was inspired by ‪@acappellacademy‬ ‘s beautiful rendition of this song, which is beautifully intricate and complex; mine is much simpler. I made this video as a learning resource for “Sing Again”, my informal and fun community choir, based on the love of singing in harmony. We embrace imperfection, making mistakes, laughing, and learning. We are often seen singing at public markets and beaches, and we welcome all voices regardless of age or experience.
