  • Hi, I’m Sylvia and I’m passionate about sharing the deep connection of harmony. I think of my home on Vancouver Island when I sing this song. It was requested by a member of my “Sing Again” group, a welcoming community where we sing in harmony, imperfectly - a very non-traditional choir where we explore and free our voices.
This tutorial is a learning resource for my community, and I hope others can use it! For those with baritone or bass voices, I would suggest singing the alto part an octave lower (or the melody the whole way through, depending on how low you can go).
I borrowed the Wings video (‪@PaulMcCartney‬) as a base on which to record harmonies. I have not stayed true to the harmonies in the original recording. I love that video, filmed on location in Scotland with the Campbelltown Pipe Band and locals of all ages singing along - that’s what I call community singing!
Please leave me a comment and let me know how this video worked for you, if you used it to learn or teach harmonies, and where in the world you are singing!
Thanks for watching, and keep singing for the pure joy of it!

This is excellent!!! Thank you. My friend and I are planning to work up this song, so you have helped us a lot to find the harmonies. Love the way you laid out the video.
