as much as i understand that, im one of the people who just hate it. It wasn't terrible, just boring and not fun to play was really the main reason. Such a let-down for the scary map we were expecting out of treyarch.
I used to find it boring, but looking back it is really fun and difficult.

Actually, to be honest it is my favorite bo3 map. The setup is long, whitch is good because I get bored after the setup. I usually find myself setting up, then getting to round 50 and downing myself. The easter egg was good but I have to say the map was very glitchy upon release.
Today I finally did the Zetsubou No Shima EE and I did solo and that was my fist solo EE. I just say that I thank you all for encouraging me to do this. Also thank you Kevin for making this experience a 100 times better you're a fucking legend.
I wanna experience it all again. Zombies will always be special, my emblem was decorated from this song as inspiration
Ngl its one of my favorite EE's. Its easy and challenging at the same time. Listening to this song while doing the boss fight and training feels hella good

A legendary game, that grew on us all, like this song, over time. As it fades into time, 6 years later we are still here.

I absolutely hated this map and this song when I first played and heard them, but over time they've both grown on me a lot. The map still has its faults, but the song is under appreciated as hell

I think the map is perfect for what it meant, is just that people dont like strive when they play, thats why other maps like revelations and Der Eisendrachen (Der Eisen is one of my favorites) are more populars between the community.
Zetsubou no shima was very miss understand at his time and even now days, you got to be a real zombis fan to like this, prove of what i said is the fcking Bo4 zombi maps, they just feel easy as fck, very well rounded but not a challenge at any time.
I don't play zombies much anymore but I still listen to this all the time.

This song is the perfect blend of calm and somber. Like it makes you feel calm yet brings tears to your eyes with the cadence of the lyrics. I've always had a soft spot for this song but never could figure out why I liked it... but now I see why.

I’m not sure if this was intended, but this seems to mirror what happens in the end of Revelations. The crew try their hardest to “secure a future for the young ones”, but in the end, all they ended up doing is trapping themselves in an endless loop. I’m not sure if I’m stretching this a bit, but this could also apply to the end of BO4 zombies (despite how poorly the story was executed). Because Nikolai and post-Great War Richthofen know that they are in a loop that is impossible for them to get out of, they decide that the only way to end the cycle would be to end themselves.
The only issue I have with this idea are the last few lines, “And now I see/Them [the dead flowers]growing/On their own”. I think that the dead flowers represent all of the problems (zombies, 115, etc.), but if they are happening on their own (not because of the primus/ultimus crews), then why did they end up killing themselves? (Maybe I’m just looking way too deep into this?)

I think it's because they've come to understand, their presence, not their actions, have become the problem. They do their best, they put their hearts into it, but their attempts to preserve the world, to keep the flowers fresh, are keeping their poisonous selves close enough to cause problems.
Man to think it’s been 6 years. I still remember all the late night high round attempts all the Easter egg attempts and so much more. There is nothing I can say other than thank you to everyone who created this masterpiece of a story and games

The hate for zetsubou needs to stop. A few UA-camr's starting disliking it for the glitches and then it turned into a whole bandwagon of "zetsubou is the worst map in black ops 3" and their mindless subscribers who follow them.
One of my favorite maps. Cool flower system, actually able to Easter egg alone, tight map without a ton of running around, no obnoxious enemy types. I love it.
Even though im not a fan of zombies nowadays I still love the music, kevin elena mula and anyone else are legendary, keep rockin guys :)

One of the few songs that genuinely works with the theme of the map itself. I absolutely love songs like not ready to die, pariedolia, and beauty of Annihilation but they dont really feel tailored to their own maps

I had to come to the comments to say that this by far is my favorite song produced. I think that has to do mostly from the meaning behind it and how it’s performed. It’s very beautiful and artistic in my eyes.

Zetsubou and everything about it was underrated by the community. It's a good map, just took long to set up and had a really satisfying wonder weapon to listen to everything die.
Kevin should try to rap the next Easter Egg song. He could call it "Spitting Fire" since the map will feature dragons.
These songs always have a sense of beauty to them, regardless of how elevated emotions seem to run while they play.
It's a paradox of beauty to be mixed in with violence or the macabre, but I do have to say the synergy produced through the music and the voices who sing are just so beautiful together.

What I adore about all these songs is how they are beautiful in such a somber and chilling way. It really creates an effective atmosphere of loneliness and desperation that these songs are developed for. Also, you made flowers of all things into a song that translates into a setting of emotions as previously mentioned highly effectively. Seriously, great work.

this song was crafted with such skill, if im right, the mixollydian mode where g is the focus during the chorus, dancing around cmajor and cminor, plus theres such a gorgeous voice doing this fresh ass melody with unconventional vowel sounds, all backed by this damn sweet theme of zombie plants...the guitar and the slower tempo make it feel so heavy...plus the end. might not be your favorite in bo3, but im convinced this is the best sherwood ee song written.

Not true...BO1 version of Nacht Der Untoten did feature a song that was all instrumental.
+Elton Arteaga that is exactly why I specifically mentioned BO1 version. :P The point was of it being a map that featured all 4 original characters...something the WaW map also didn't include in its games until Shi no Numa. It is, however, still an easter egg song, regardless of it being a remake of the BO1 map.

I remember first hating this song, but then it grew on me. Now, whenever I listen to it, I just get hit by a wave of nostalgia because of the all the memories I have of pulling all nighters on bo3 with my homies who now don’t go on anymore

I'm going to bet this is an unpopular opinion, but I prefer this to "Dead Again". I find that though dead again has a great guitar riff, the lyrics don't follow the rhythm extremely well, it just carries on. It's not a bad song by any means, but not as good as this. Dead flowers has a solid rhythm, a very strong guitar, and the lyrics follow the beat.

Just like Black Sabbath with Dio. (Dead again) and Osbourne (Dead flowers) its all about what you like more. Both songs are now of my favorites. Amazing work.
Scandium52 Oh I agree with you, it's all on preference. they both are my favorites as well! Clark did an amazing job writing these, Elena and Malukah both did stunning vocal work. I'm excited for the next dlc song, and I'm almost tempted to bet money that Clark will be singing since the ladies sung first
