Hey Kevin not sure if you will actually see this but just wanted to share a quick story. When WAW released my group of friends were so hyped for zombies and the dlc's came and we loved it. Many nights would be spent playing and reaching for high round/ scores . My friends and I have played all zombies regularly up till Der Eisendrach. This map was the last map that my best friend and our squad played and completed the easter egg etc before he died suddenly. Thank you and Elena and everyone else from Treyarch for what will forever be a positive experience that I will never lose. R.I.P BluntDangers420 I know you are still slaying zombies in heaven now.

The nostalgia from 2016 of trying to do the Easter Egg over and over again and each time failing at the boss fight, but finally beating it was such a great feeling. I miss these days. You’re amazing Kevin and Elena. The combination of the instrumental and vocals is honestly some of the best music I’ve ever gotten to hear.

Oh my god the nostalgia. Hearing this brought back all the times I used to play WAW and the original black ops with my friends. Elena's voice has always been incredible, and I am so happy to hear it again. A zombie song hasn't hit me this hard since the first black ops. I'm in awe, and I really hope we'll hear more from her in the future maps. If they're anything like this, we're in for some god damn amazing music!

Exactly the same thoughts as me! Once I heard this song, I said, "Elena is back!" Bringing back the nostalgia and memories, plus the amazing story of zombies. Including how beautiful Elena's voice is to these songs. The songs are very meaningful to zombies, and life itself.

Hey Kevin, long time since release, but I just wanted to say that this song in particular is just tremendous and so perfectly fitting. I love everything about it and it is the go to song I think of when it comes to zombies. It perfectly encapsulates Der Eisendrache and the story, but also leaves the listeners awestruck with a feeling of creativeness and that they will prevail. Idk about anyone else, but this song gets me pumped and super motivated. Thank you for the many years of beautiful soundtracks and the nostalgia you’ve given thousands of kids growing up.

Coming back all these years later to just listen to this masterpiece, and enjoy a bit of nostalgia for what was honestly a big part of my life growing up. Zombies was a huge part of my teenage years, and I'll never forget the memories I have from playing it. But here specifically, I want to talk about Der Eisendrache. What a goddamn map! I remember seeing the first trailer for it the night it dropped, and thinking to myself "This could turn out to be one of the best maps of all time..." and guess what? It was, and still is! Intact, very recently, a few friends of mine and I went through and made a tier list of all the zombies maps through bo3, now that we've had almost 8 years with them. And guess what? Der Eisendrache ended up being our number one map of all time. I truly believe it's as close as Treyarch ever got to a perfect zombies map. While my personal favorite is Mob, I can't argue with how incredibly well designed everything in DE is. Everything makes sense. Every step of the easter egg is logical, the bows are incredible weapons that aren't too difficult to obtain, and that boss fight? Perfection. But how could I comment in the section of this song without mentioning it? While I still like Pareidolia the most and I think some other songs are more iconic, this song stands among the best. It deserves to be in the same conversations as 115 and Beauty of Annihilation. I legitimately get _chills_ every time 1:06 hits. Yes, everyone talks about that part, but I also want to mention 3:23. The way she sings "I feel the pain now" as the music drops in the background makes me feel some way that I'm not sure I can describe with words. Everything about this map is a genuine masterpiece. Bravo Kevin for perfectly crystallizing not only this map, but the entire COD Zombies into a song just under 5 minutes. I may be high as shit while typing this, but you truly deserve all the praise in the world for all your masterpieces.

December 25th 2015, that’s the date I got my ps4. The first game I played on it was bo3. I still remember the first time I ever played. “Sniff” Even tho I didn’t realize it, December 25th 2015, was the day that I got a console that I would make 100’s of friends on, lose many friends, and play when I’m feeling down, and forever live on.
The date is July 4th 2022, and I still have the same ps4. When I get the ps5, I will never forget what my ps4 did for me.

My personal opinion is that this is hands down the best original COD: Zombies song produced. The vocals, the epic guitar solos, the drums going HAM, all of it is great.
I don't know if you'll read this but, you was my introduction to metal and guitar. I spent years playing the games and activating the songs just because they slap. Thank you for making the music that inspired me to pick up guitar just to learn.

I'm basing my opinion on musicality, technicality, and structure, and Archangel was an opus. So great. This song was really interesting with it's 12/8 (if im correct) verses and chorus. The other songs are good, but grow stale. Especially BoA and the Bo2 songs. Still great songs though.

I've always loved the EE songs, as a metal head I approve of these double kicks and djent worthy bass licks 🤘 and that voice 👌🖤 not many female artists can flux between heavy and soft and make is sound appealing.

Idk maybe it's nostalgia or something else, but when Elena Siegman it always just click with me, no offence to Makulah and Clark S. Nova They have also have amazing songs too, but it's just something special about hearing Elena Siegman.

It's crazy how much 5 or 6 years can change someone. I look at this song through a completely different lense now, with a different meaning. Still love it of course
