I've been a fan of Clark Nova since i stumbled upon the album "Dim Summer" it had a real 90's rock feel to it, love his Metal stuff though! Keep rocking!

By going through Gorod and securing Nikolai's soul, they are keeping the cycle intact and effectively dead ending themselves. However, speaking in broader terms: it can be applied to their entire journey. Them embarking on the journey at all is where they went wrong as it will always lead to a dead end regardless. "Our Story's Dead Ending" In both Revelations and Tag their stories hit a dead end. They never won anything. They either get sent back in time to the Great War or they die. "How long can we go before we all know that we never mattered?" In the grand scheme of things, Primis never mattered. No matter what they did they would never be able to break the cycle _and_ live. After they are dead and gone, nobody will remember them or the fact they fought the Great War. "Even if there was no witness. Even if no one cared to see. It still happened somewhere. We've fought the Great War over and over but victory could never be ours." It's cool how the songs have deeper meanings after a while.
@@dona8682 Both Primis and Ultimis were forgotten because they ended the cycle and only Eddie and Sam walked into the new world leaving the rest of the crew to lose their souls because they never retrieved the rest of the children, everything in the Dark Aether has pretty much also forgotten about them as it's been probably millions of years since everything got banished to there alluded by Vanguard. Victis is definitely dead or mutated because of 115/Aetherium exposure Dr. Monty is probably dead if he can age, or he's mutated as well as the keepers and Apothicons have changed and are in cold war. (The Disciples without their masks, and Abominations were obviously Margwas) The Shadow Man died with the Summoning Key being destroyed so yeah. Sam definitely does not remember either of the crews sadly, but maybe the new Richtofen does because he calls Samantha lost little girl at one point in a tape just like in the old story.

dead flowers did for me also, it just had such a depressing vibe to it, all of ZNS did really, this songs kinda depressing too bc 1. the story is almost over, i literally just got into it like 2 and a half years ago, but its been the best and 2. the lyrics are like the fucked up kind of depressing unlike Dead flowers which was straight up depressing
A lot of Kevin's songs have actually helped me make it through some days. The entire storyline actually appealed to the really dark side of me. It is depressing that something like this is coming to an end. But I guess that's why the last three songs have "dead" in the title.

This is easily my favorite of the BO3 EE songs for good reason. It's shredding guitars and demonic metal screams pierce me in all the best way, and it marked a welcome return for Clark after providing backup vocals on Archangel. It also fits the map perfectly, what with the technological, undead mess that the Agonia Fractures Stalingrad was left in by that universes Group 935 (or rather, the remnants of Group 935's experiments), as well as the instability within Nikolai's mind. He's the final member of Primis required to hunt and kill his Ultimis counterpart (of course, the versions of Ultimis pursued by Primis in BO3 aren't the ones we play in WAW, BO1, or BO4, so we get to see their bullshit deaths later) in order for Richtofen, someone he never fails to express hatred for throughout the journey, to collect his soul. As Nikolai is roped into a time-and-space-hopping adventure by Richtofen as part of a mission that inevitably leads to him literally killing himself, he has every right to feel what he feels for the latter. However, with the chaos unfolding all around him, the fact that he's being faced with killing himself so that his soul will be taken, and the memories of his wife's death all coming at him at once, it's hard to tell when he'll snap, yet easy to see how this song fits the violent, fiery atmosphere of the map. And yet for everything he's endured, Primis Nikolai somehow went from a humble soldier who couldn't comprehend what was unfolding around him to being the pure hero who held all of the answers and was willing to sacrifice everything to save everything.
To think that the song was telling us the whole time what was going on Knowing now that going through Gorod krovi was futile, a dead end That the cycle would be doomed to repeat if we followed this path

whats depressing is ultimis nikolai basically has nothing left, coupled with the fact hes an alcoholic and has lost some of his memories + being deranged due to the effects of element 115, so all he can think about at the moment is the happiness he feels from drinking vodka instead of remembering the things he loved or wouldve wished for in the past

No, it happened to me too. The very first time I listened to the chorus I smiled. It's really catchy. This song is very inspired, and is the only BO3 Zombies song that I loved on the first listen so far.

I don't think Nikolai is afraid of death, I think he's afraid of having to become the one to murder his closest friends. He doesn't want to come to terms with his future fate which is kill his friends since the Kronorium said it was the only way to break the Cycle.

i, a fan for not only zombies but the ones who compose the music, enjoy the three of them and I'm happy Kevin let them in the Black Ops 3 OST since its a mix of them all instead of just Elena even tho she is great at what she does, we do need new stuff here and there, and its the reason some of the songs that has Nova and Malukah is cause its something different and its great :3
It's really cool that the last original aether map has a song that kinda tells us how the story ends. Also, is crazy to think that Gorod Krovi was the last original map.
Rev had 2 new areas and the rest of the map was a mash of other maps. DIE machine is similar but most of the map space itself is original considering half of the map is underground and the outside portions aren't technically from nacht itself. Firebase Z is totally original.
It's weird. After the first DLC song being Elena, then the next one being Malukah, I was actually sort of expecting Nova to sing this one. Does this mean we might get another collab like Archangel for the last DLC?
DLC 4 is probably gonna include the last Teyarch zombies map sadly (hopefully it isn`t but with the way that Jason Blundell explained some of the contents in DLC 4, it might be the last one), so why would they not end off with Elena, Malukah, and Nova doing a collab for the easter egg song for DLC 4

could be the fact if you remember back when we had the OG Crew, refering to the 1.0 characters, they were rock and alittle metal for they were delusional to the element 115 and, well it was badass but, since the 2.0 crew came in Edward is trying to "make a better tomorrow" and the alternate universes you created by dying and loading back up the maps make different events happening, and since the new crew is killing the 1.0 crew is ending those universes and now that they are dead, its all coming to an end where we might see a better tomorrow... that is if Dr. Monty doesn't do anything bad to them :3

‘The End Will Bring Me Back To You’ Probably reflecting Nicholai reflecting on when he lost his wife and that he knew that no matter what route he took the end of the journey with the others it would always lead him back to her.
The vocal melody is just amazing, Kevin. And those 4 chords at 1:07 fit soooo well. They kind of define the mood of the song. At least that's what I perceive. Anyways, this song is amazing.

I'd say that this song matches the Gorod Krovi map. The song has a feeling of of some sort of inescapable fear, which is immensely satisfying. Great job Kevin, love your stuff.

The worst way they could've ended it. The "everything gets erased and the story was pretty much for nothing" ending doesn't work with a story as long as zombies.
I love everything about all of these songs. I can't play newer DLC maps as i don't have a next gen console, but these songs are what I look forward to more than anything. Ever since I realized these songs existed I had to find every single one of them and I've loved EVERY ONE. It's too bad that the next DLC map will give us the last, but I know I won't be disappointed. Really hope you guys can keep the music coming even after the final DLC drops.

i, a fan for not only zombies but the ones who compose the music, enjoy the three of them and I'm happy Kevin let them in the Black Ops 3 OST since its a mix of them all instead of just Elena even tho she is great at what she does, we do need new stuff here and there, and its the reason some of the songs that has Nova and Malukah is cause its something different and its great :3

Rev had 2 new areas and the rest of the map was a mash of other maps. DIE machine is similar but most of the map space itself is original considering half of the map is underground and the outside portions aren't technically from nacht itself.

DLC 4 is probably gonna include the last Teyarch zombies map sadly (hopefully it isn`t but with the way that Jason Blundell explained some of the contents in DLC 4, it might be the last one), so why would they not end off with Elena, Malukah, and Nova doing a collab for the easter egg song for DLC 4

could be the fact if you remember back when we had the OG Crew, refering to the 1.0 characters, they were rock and alittle metal for they were delusional to the element 115 and, well it was badass but, since the 2.0 crew came in Edward is trying to "make a better tomorrow" and the alternate universes you created by dying and loading back up the maps make different events happening, and since the new crew is killing the 1.0 crew is ending those universes and now that they are dead, its all coming to an end where we might see a better tomorrow... that is if Dr. Monty doesn't do anything bad to them :3

The vocal melody is just amazing, Kevin. And those 4 chords at 1:07 fit soooo well. They kind of define the mood of the song. At least that's what I perceive. Anyways, this song is amazing.

I love everything about all of these songs. I can't play newer DLC maps as i don't have a next gen console, but these songs are what I look forward to more than anything. Ever since I realized these songs existed I had to find every single one of them and I've loved EVERY ONE. It's too bad that the next DLC map will give us the last, but I know I won't be disappointed. Really hope you guys can keep the music coming even after the final DLC drops.
