We were smiling for a while before that cat growl. Haha! 😆 It's not often that we get a little shaken from something like that on the trail. Thanks for watching!
Sarah's nervous facial reactions are priceless! (; Potential cats and bears would scare me too! Those overlooks were scary too! (; The waterfall makes it all worthwhile though! This video reminds me of the forest behind the house where I grew up in - I miss it so much! My sense of adventure came from not only the forest but growing up near a bird sanctuary, corn fields, pumpkin patches, watermelons growing nearby, several state forests... now I prefer the ocean and lakes but forests are great too! I am recommending to everyone my current favorite song - it's from Italy, it's called "Brividi", by Mamoud and BLANCO. The live version from San Remo is amazing!
Haha! I know! As soon as we heard whatever the animal was we all froze and she was pretty worried. We were all so happy to get out of there! Very nice song that you shared. It was pretty cool hearing it. So glad you enjoyed Freeman!
I love them trail's at that park and I have seen a black panther not far from there but I was in my truck, back in the 1940's and 50's my grandfather had a farm down in Savage Gulf his farm is part of the state park now, it's a very beautiful state park
Wow! A panther?! That would freak us out seeing a big cat like that in person. It's a very cool area though with some awesome trails! Thanks for the comment! 😊
Savage Gulf state park isn’t even 5 miles from our house. It runs through the woods behind our small neighborhood, leads into Collins Gulf, and eventually into Stone Door in Beersheba Springs. I love living on the Cumberland Plato.
Wow that's amazing! You've got a nice backyard to explore up there in Tennessee. I'm sure you'll have some nice spots now that it's warming up. Enjoy! 😊
It definitely was! Savage Gulf is a huge area to explore with a lot of great views. It's always cool to hike out to beautiful waterfalls. Always great to hear from you Florida and Beyond!
Hi! It's your neighbors from Tomoka State Park, FL :) So nice to meet the two of you and how cool that you have a UA-cam channel! Love seeing the Tennesse series. Makes me ready for some hiking trips when we get to North Carolina! Stay in touch! -- Becca & Matt
Omg hello you guys! We didn't think we'd hear from you! 😊 It was so great meeting you too and it was so cool to see you guys traveling with your cats. Have fun on your travels and we hope we run into you two again!
It really was incredible! No we haven't heard of that place but it'd be cool to check it out the next time we're in the area! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching
So great to hear from you Maxilo! We always try to be kind to each other even if we have disagreements (which everyone does!). It's never worth going to bed angry and we always remember that we're a team. No matter what we always have each other's best interests in mind and care about each other. It's so important even after so many years. Thanks for the question and hope you're doing well! ❤️❤️❤️
@@PSAdventures thankyou yes I'm doing well!! Just seeing the two of you made me realize what I want in a relationship... I see you two are a team almost like best friends... I never had any luck meeting someone that I could say was my best friend... but I'm hopeful I will!!! Seeing couples get along makes me so happy because usually I see the opposite!!! I noticed you guys take turns Share often and really smile alot!!!
I'm not totally sure on that one but from what we remember maybe 4 or 5 feet? Definitely have to check that one in person since it can always change. Thanks for the question!
We love to visit Tennessee waterfalls in warmer seasons, like late Spring and Summer. That way it's appealing and refreshing to get into the waters. There are many other areas like Fall Creek Falls that have a great mix of available activities, like kayaking the lake, hiking in the mountains, and huge waterfalls. Enjoy!
Yeah, you're on to something there. Some waterfalls can be dangerous because of the power of the water, the water depth, what's lurking beneath the surface (like rocks and fallen trees) and the water current. Unless we are sure it's safe because we've seen lots of people doing it, we tend to enjoy the area around the waterfall without getting too close to the falls itself. 😄
I love the smiling faces you both have. Except when Sara heard that big cat on the trai! LoL.

I have been to Savage Gulf it's an awesome place.
You're probably one of the few who've been there! It was a really cool place that felt very wild. Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Fantastic trail, especially waterfall. Nicely filmed too.
Thanks so much! Appreciate the love!

I’ve never been there. But I’ll go if an opportunity arises in the future. Beautiful waterfalls! I’m glad to see you’ll had a good time.
Thanks so much for watching! It was pretty cool being in such a wild area in Tennessee. Wait till you see the next ones! Great to hear from you!
The views and waterfall look amazing! Great hike!

We hiked Conasauga falls. So we have 1 checked off the list, now waiting for snow to melt so we can get back out there..
Very nice! It's getting closer to hiking season up there. We'd love to get back up there and get back on the trail! 😁
I always bring the ole Hog Dog with me just in case.. Lol
Haha! I'm sure that would be a bit more protection. 😆
Awesome video! This waterfall looks incredible to swim in. Have you guys been to the Fiery Gizzard trail? It is close to this area.

@@PSAdventures Anytime! Can't wait to hike the savage gulf and appreciate your video!
I am actually considering moving to this area from South Florida.
Wow! That would definitely be a change of scenery. We love going between the beach and the mountains. Good luck on your move if you do! 😊
@@PSAdventures I have lived near both and I have to say that I venture more into the mountains than I do beaches.
I noticed that you guys get along so well.. What is the secret?? That's so nice to see two people getting along with minimal arguments...

How deep is the water in front of the white water?

BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO GO? WOULD LOVE TO KAYAK, HIKE AND SWIM

IS IT DANGEROUS TO GO UNDER THE WATERFALL? YOU DIDNT TRY IT!!
