- We take both of our Eg Civics to the track to finally see what is better, more power or less weight.
Our K24 Saloon Eg is pushing just shy of 290hp naturally aspirated
Our K20 Hatch Eg is pushing just under 255hp but weighs less than the saloon.
Which do you think is the faster Honda?

B16A in a hatch was already quick. I can imagine a K swap hatch running 12's.
K series in an eg chassis is just so good. They were never meant to be this fast 😳😂

Easy 12’s with just a fbo k in a hatch while b series you’d have to upgrade internals….
How ? Isn’t that the standard engine that it comes with in Japan? I’m talking about the B16 A?

@@ChrisLeeK24 I was abroad the last few years but came home a month ago. Have to try dig the EK9 out of storage ha I'm all for trying to help the car scene in Ireland recover from its near death so all the best to ye!

Both Tony’s and Chris cars are doing a mid 2.02 lap with lots of traffic so lots more shaving to do of times with these cars once we get a good run at the track when it’s quieter
@@RepublicRacing1 they are super fast times.no hot hatch handles like a double wishbone civic.👏

Every now and then I heel toe but not a whole lot, not sure why as I can do it just fine I just choose not to.
Better camera angles would get you more followers. Audio is great though...
Thanks for the feedback we need this type of stuff to improve, we’re working on the quality of the angles and camera work each time we go out, hopefully it’s up to par soon enough ✌🏻
