    I would think you Norwegian guys are armed with something heavier than a .270 when you’re in polar bear territory.

      Hello from Kangiqsualujjuaq Quebec in Nuvavik. We are Inuit, formerly known as eskimos. 😀

  • @6sulli
    @6sulli Місяць тому +1

    Hey loving your videos, thanks for uploading!
    Was just wondering, for the Inuit, what are the rules for Polar bear hunting, whether by the government or even just culturally is there a certain code? Was also wondering if the Ungava population was facing a similar situation to that of the Western Hudson Bay bears, or if your bears on the Ungava side are doing better?
    I've been working in in and around Nunavik for the last few years but have still never been lucky (or i suppose in the wrong setting unlucky) enough to see one. Hope to one day! Thanks again!

      Thank you, we don't have rules about hunting polar bears yet, we don't hunt them a lot

    Hi There from Newfoundland. I just stumbled upon your channel and love your content. Such a great way of life. Keep the great vides coming. I seen on one after a polar bear hunt you have almost 46,000 kms on your skidoo. Amazing. I have 2 900 Ace Skidoo's. A 2023 Expedition SE and a 2023 Skandic SE. I hope I get same longevity as you.

    What an amazing and terrifying animal! How high are the tides at Ungava Bay? I imagine the shifting ice is a favorite hunting ground for the Polar bear and maybe others?

    • @FelixSt-Aubin
      @FelixSt-Aubin  Місяць тому +2

      We have one of the highest recorded tides recorded in the North. At full moon, we are able to pick delicious mussels, geoducks, urchins and more!

    Hunting bears with snowmobiles should be illegal. Using drones illegal, using airplanes and helicopters illegal. Give the bear a damn chance instead of a turkey shoot. You are not sport's man.

    • @FelixSt-Aubin

      We use the skins for clothing, the meat for food. We are not trigger happy, we hunt for sustenance.

    • @After5Outdoors
      @After5Outdoors Місяць тому +2

      Buying all of your clothes and food at a store with no connection to how it was made should be illegal. These men and women have been connected to nature for years and years. They use every piece of the animal and waste nothing. Think about your ignorant comment when you go through the drive thru next time. Leave these guys who are working for their food alone!
