Most briskets will fit in the vertical. I think if you're just looking for a smoker, the vertical is a great fit. If you're looking for higher temps up near 450 for some cooks, then WW Pro is a better option. And yes, I think the smokebox is a feature worth having.
So are we to assume that all the issues they had with these units have been addressed. I’d really like to get one but the bad reviews kind of put me off
Is there a way to tell if you are looking at a newer model that has addressed some of the issues? I ask because Camp Chef is like perpetually sold out, but I've seen a few at some Bass Pro Shops near me
I don't know specifically, but I think anything manufactured after 6/2023 is a new model that has been upgraded. Both models are going to look very similar. I don't think they did anything like a different handle or something like that which would be easy to tell.
Awful smoker, I had mine 2 weeks and returned it after 3 cook's... Door warped badly, it was 20 degrees under temp, and the handles were falling off after just a few uses... Replenishment parts weren't available for month. Bad quality, not what expect for almost a thousand dollars. Camp chef customer service was marginal at best.
Thanks for the review.
How would you compare it to the WWPro 24”? Is the price difference worth the WW? And any concerns with fitting a brisket if there’s only 21.5” width?

@@andersonbbqsupply That's great to know. Thanks! I was all set to order them Grilla just launched the Mammoth. Might be getting that
How many briskets can you smoke without using the bottom rack.
Depends on the briskets, but you could fit four comfortably
