"And I read bye bye, Anton" I got a good laugh from that one. I'm really glad you made this video, probably should be required viewing in any cave diving course. The thought occurred to me, if this had not turned out so well, I would have much rather been the diver who perished, than the one who lived, knowing that I did not keep good enough contact with my buddy.
Loved Anton’s storytelling so animated could listen to him all day. This is how Cave Divers get out alive thinking the problem through and not panicking. I just wished there was a little communication redundancy between diving partners before each point of progression of the the dive. I wonder if when two very experienced people are diving together if there is a tendency to not communicate as much due to diver experience as opposed to things just going wrong.
Anton seems to really enjoy diving and that's what really comes across in this re-telling. I want his shirt also. 🤿 🇺🇦
My deepest respect for all you guys, and your professionality. It takes some special people to master all events and risks associated with cave diving. Makes me remember the story of the boy scouts in Thailand, who were trapped in a cave and found and rescued by cave divers.

There are a Ukrainian community in Portugal for the last 30 years and growing,( I had a UA girlfriend for 4 years ) never heard of them being divers, until now. Happy to know that he’s promoting cave diving in Portugal and hope that he doesn’t risk his life doing it

Hi Jonathan. I just want to thank you. A video you took down last year actually helped to save 2 lives. I know you took some heat for it and that was very misplaced. The information that you provided is what stuck in our heads when we were faced with some extreme adversity. Your video was VERY instrumental in saving my life and my son's life. Thank you!

@@awkwardautistic It was heavily misrepresented in an incident report and the cave diving community rushed to judgement without having the facts. The video actually helped save our lives, but the report said that the video enticed us to do the dive which was NEVER the case. We simply review videos as homework before doing a dive in a new place. It caused enough negative comments that he had no choice.

@@awkwardautistic He got flak because he showed a very advanced dive and if he followed one of the key rules, verifying the exit, he didn't show it or mention it. Teams not following that rule have gotten two people killed in the last few years. One needs to be very careful showing advanced as first level cave divers often don't know the dangers or how to properly setup and plan those dives.

I cannot unverstand how people can endure decompression times of 3 hours. I guess I would die from boredom 😅
Sometimes they bring entertainment. Like a laminated crossword puzzle or a movie on a smartphone (in a dive case of course). But yeah 3 hours is long.
I do meditation. The same thing like when people do apnea or yoga. It is not boring. It is relaxing and happy 😊
Now imagine 6 hours of deco...in 34 degree water....and that's what Sami and the Finnish divers are doing in Plura cave in Norway. Wait until you see our episode about Plura coming in a few months....
