I have been thinking, for some time now, of getting one of the etrikes. I am 75, just shy of 5’, so have had concerns as to whether I could manage it. I met a woman riding one in my neighborhood about a year ago (it’s now 8/2024) who told me that when I order the trike, I will have to choose how many gears I want. She said to be sure to make that choice, otherwise, it only comes with what is essentially a first gear. I haven’t ridden any type of bike since around 1980! And I’ve never been on any bike with hand brakes and gears, so I am utterly unfamiliar with the terminology; I’ve no idea what PAS is! . Before I order, I am definitely going to talk to the manufacturer to get a brief education!
I have not received my Trike yet but it should be here soon. You said, instead of PAS Throttle One, you should have used Throttle 5. Could the weight make a difference in what PAS it should be in to go up a hill? I weigh about 145.
I changed the settings on my wife’s trike. I think it’s safer to have the extra power, especially if you need to get out of the way of a car.

From watching other videos I bet you can change that in the settings.

You should not have any problem going up hills at your weight. I am 265 and am able to get up all the hills here.
