The difference is palpable: You and Lot are already looking years younger as if some heavy weights came off both of your shoulders. Hope your shin is feeling better with the antibiotics, beware those nasty insects and critters. So much more relaxed and at ease now in your new island life. Great vlog in Socorro and tears were shed watching Bing reuniting with her sister after so many years hiatus. Socorro is noticeably a "clean" municipality, so colorful and full of the peoples' pride for their community being self evident; colorful and creative, great free municipal pool and park and public baths for sure, most very unlike AC, bigley. I remember when Bingbing came to stay with you all. She was just a tiny little one. Brian, not going to Lie... Seeing them hug put a Lump in my throat and Tears in my eyes. How Precious.... 😢HAPPY they are together now ! 😊 So True, most look after each other there. When I visited BOHOL the towns were smaller and tight knit. Everyone Smiling and Friendly. My two and a half weeks in the Philippines were Amazing. Even though things didn't work out for us. I will NEVER Forget how Amazing it was in the PHILIPPINES. MABUHAY !! 😊

One thing for sure, your language skills will improve with most people around you speaking in Filipino or their province dialect. You mentioned a lot about being the only 'WHITE GUY' but it does not seem it is as plainly and harshly viewed as a RACE identity issue here, it does not seem bigoted as in USA where everybody is segregated by a color, the interest from them seems more to do with being a 'FOREIGNER', because I definitely am not WHITE and actually thought my BROWN skin could blend me in here but I really feel like a KING here when I walk outside, everybody is always looking my way and staring, people always saying HELLO and waving from vehicles, little girls tapping on each other's shoulder to look at me, even little 5 year old kids looking at me doing double takes, and it really gets there attention more when they hear me SPEAK, I guess they are amused of my AMERICAN accent, which I never realized I had😄

The only white guy! Yeah, know the feeling. Our subdivision has about 550 dwellings and in my two and a half years here, I have not seen another white guy. Most have got used to seeing me around the place and don’t stare at me like they did at first. Got to know quite a few near us. Some of the older ones don’t really understand me and my Aussie accent, they say it is so slang. Loving it here, the people, the lifestyle and I am getting a real tan. They laugh when I say I am going baluga!
Happy that Bing Bing got to meet her sisters. This old man cried! Taking the bath at the pool reminded me of my youth in South Philly when I was a boy. We were lucky enough to live close to a public pool where they would make you take a shower before entering like you had cooties or something. Ha-ha!

The only white guy! Yeah, know the feeling. Our subdivision has about 550 dwellings and in my two and a half years here, I have not seen another white guy. Most have got used to seeing me around the place and don’t stare at me like they did at first. Got to know quite a few near us. Some of the older ones don’t really understand me and my Aussie accent, they say it is so slang. Loving it here, the people, the lifestyle and I am getting a real tan. They laugh when I say I am going baluga!
Happy that Bing Bing got to meet her sisters. This old man cried! Taking the bath at the pool reminded me of my youth in South Philly when I was a boy. We were lucky enough to live close to a public pool where they would make you take a shower before entering like you had cooties or something. Ha-ha!
