  • 10 ways to say I don't know in French, from the well known je ne sais pas and the contraction sheypa but we have more ways to express we don't know a thing, like donner sa langue au chat which is an expression that means we have no clue but we want to know.
You will even see a noise expression we make to say we don't know something.

This is so helpful! I appreciate the way you repeat several possible versions of the same basic expression.

I would actually say 11 is probably one of the most common way when we speak
If you actually reply that, you will look really fluent
Though I'd say that most people don't really realize that this sound is a thing. It's so natural for us. You will probably not get any compliment from using it because people wouldn't realize it's not a thing in other languages, but it's a really good way to say it

Hello, in the future, could you repeat the phrases, saying them a bit slower... (slow for you, sound normal speed to me) the second and third time you said the phrases were too quick for me personally... but thank you. I"m visiting Paris this Fall and trying to brush up.

"Alor là." You didn't explain what that means, or when you should use it. It is very French sounding, of course. Merci. Number 11 is an ugly spitting sound to an American's ear, so we'd not fancy using it even by imitation. Belle vidéo de toute façon.
