      Hello Mr. Dherve (I just discovered your last name from your website),
      You told me a month ago that a video is almost ready when I had addressed that you did not include Ramener in this video and I asked you how you use it with the other verbs. This video you speak of, does it address the verb "Ramener" and how to use it with all the porter and mener verbs mentioned in this video? Because I want to know how to use "Ramener".

      @@alexsalazar5097 slt alex ..i am not french but i think the verb ramener is more like going someplace get the thing you seek for and bring it back to the first place, par example" je vais ramener des bonbon que tu préfères" lets say u r at home you tell your kid that you will bring him his favorite candy ..first state u r at home ...then you go to the store buy the candy and then take it back to your child ..returning to first state.

    Dear professeur Pascal: thank you very much for your clear, concise, intelligent, accessible and helpful explanations. Personally, if I may say, I would find your presentation to be even clearer if you limit yourself to using the French language, which I assume is your mother tongue, judging by your charming French intonation. I understand your French better than your English.

    you say the verb amener is used when expressing bringing people to a final destination but my french boyfriend said you can use it when talking about things "j'ai amené de quoi lire" So i'm a little confused...

    • @Frenchspanishonline
      @Frenchspanishonline  6 років тому +1

      you should believe your teacher first :). It is true that some French people mix the verbs amener y apporter. Actually amener works with things but the meaning is different: the crisis leads the government: la crise amène le gouvernement, la guerre a amené le typhus: war causes typhus...

    "Voudriez-vous lui apporter ce livre,?" (serait trop formel)? "Porte lui ce livre tu veux?"
    Would be the way people actually speak, (literally) "Carry him/her this book, you would?" Yet implied: Carry/take him this book (if you would)? C'est Vrais? In English that would be correctly phrased, is the proper/polite way to say "si vous voulez?" En français?
    (ou est-ce vieux)? Peace ~Inertia
