Evan Beattie snares and traps should be checked at least twice a day. Ive just got in from setting some snares and purse nets over holes for some back netting. I be back out in 2 hours to check them then again at 6am. Just seen this. Did you take up snaring then?
If you add guide sticks that go over the snare high enough say just above the snare this will cause a cat to jump over they do not like to drag they're bellies and it would have to be a pretty small dog to get caught too most snared dogs are used to leashes and will not freak out most of the time they just take a nap till help arrives or whine or bark until someone frees them.It is wise to only trap where its legal and there are no domestic animals that could possibly get caught.
Did you bring your Dvd out ?
Good set up! I subbed!
Thanks for subscribing and watching
Hi I’m afraid of the risk of snaring a cat or a small dog, do you think there’s a big risk?
It is if you want to be sure use a spring snare it will loosen so they can live but YOU have to set them free or kill the fox
kherisherpa no if your in the country if your in a town there is risk
I found my neighbours missing cat in a snare, it had been there for a couple of days. Luckily it survived after the fire brigade came and got it out.

I don’t think you can beat using a pricker to hold the snare in place that’s how I was taught always more than one way tho all the best
