Defense of The Old Town has always been one of my favorite tracks from the game. Thronebreaker's soundtrack doesn't nearly get the credit it deserves, this is beautiful.
@@grajowiecpl2942 I opened a thread in CDProkekt gwent Foroum talking about music in gwent, why should be added old soundtracks of gwent beta. Your idea of adding to gwent thronebreaker's is a very good idea.
I think the same. CDProjekt's composers are amazing. Witcher 1, 2, and 3 have an amazing soundtrack. Gwent has a great soundtrack too. The guys of larian studios (Polish people too if i can remember) has excelents composers too, check Divinity original sin 2 soundtrack, it is beautiful.
Larian studios is Belgian, but the composer of Divinity Original Sin 2 is Bulgarian (Borislav Slavov). And yes, the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful.
I wouldn't say "too much" effort, the game came out great like I would usually expect a CDPR game to be. But I feel like for the amount of effort that was put into it, it wasn't marketed enough. Probably because they thought people wouldn't be interested in a single-player Gwent game where you don't even play as Geralt? Idk
@@BIacklce To each their own I guess. I enjoyed this game very much and I'll probably play it again sometime. It was worth every penny for me precisely because it was so well made, I mean if you're gonna have a story in your game it might as well be a good one, and voiceovers aren't the most difficult thing in the world to add. This is pretty on-brand for CDPR. The Witcher 3 DLCs definitely didn't need to be so long and so full of content, you know people would've bought them anyway. And yet.. you see some of the stand-alone AAA games nowadays and they're not even as good as one of those DLCs, let alone the main game
@@BIacklce yeah, if Thronebreaker was an actual RPG game, with all the story, the characters, the choices and the MUSIC, i'd play it a hundred times. but i really hate Gwent overall, so i'll probably never play this either

Some of Thronebreaker's soundtrack should be in standalone Gwent

thronebreaker is a case study in what happens when you put too much effort into a video game, a rare case

@FangZ doing a 20+ hour campaign with all the assets, voice overs, story development, etc for a card game is too much effort
