I found your channel looking at cross cut saw stuff, I love chainsaws and crosscut saws. I have to congratulate you on such good health. This feat is impressive at any age. I am 21, and I am not sure I could do 70 miles on my modern bicycle.

Congratulations on your ride Jim! What a great accomplishment. I'm a fairly new rider. Just got a 29" uni and I'm really intrigued by your handlebar setup and how it's attached. Never seen anything quite like it! Is that something you custom made yourself?

Josh, Yes it is homemade out of 1/2" electrical conduit. I've made a couple of them and it is welded to the seat post. It cost just $2.00 for the conduit and seems to work well. A few photos of it on my gallery at: pbase.com/jimthode/unicycle

@@jimthode Thanks Jim, I really appreciate it! I'm guessing you had to heat up the conduit in order to get the desired shape? The pictures are great. You have some beautiful trails there to ride on. You're incredibly inventive in all the little things you've created/modified to better fit your needs. Keep on pedaling, you're an inspiration! I hope I'm still going strong when I'm your age. :)

@@joshstory8054 I use no heat to bend the handlebars. I do one of two methods, fill the tube with water and freeze it solid or fill with compacted sand. Then bend over any handy round surface, the ice of sand helps to prevent kinking. I guess if I had a proper tubing bender and dies it would be easier.
