Mate that was an unreal session! But be good if one of you could put a rod down an really focus in on the sounder pointing out what we’re looking at , ie-that’s the lure that’s the fish .. I’m in the market for one of these but not sure wether to go garmin or simrad .. this looks to be the best use of the simrad I’ve seen ! Thanks for sharing
Hey mate we had sounder recordings for that day but for some reason they couldn't be edited on the computer I used to make that clip. You'll see some on my Facebook page or shoot me a message there if you want to see any more. Cheers Jason Ehrlich
Hi David. That is correct we set it so centre was 90 degrees to the back of the boat so we could line up the fish better. Thats is just the way my boat drifts best. When there was no wind we aimed straight out the back and slowly reversed looking for targets.
JUST A MEGA SESSION. Could be the best Barra session ever filmed....
Slayed it
Jas that was just magic! Helping ur young fella with his magic lure and hooking up was so pure! Great to watch
That’s one crazy session Jas! Looks like a heap of fun! Happy New Year mate 🎉👍🍻🎣

One of the best live action I've seen...Are you running standard hooks on the 80mm redick?
Yes. It's hard to find a replacement treble that allows them to suspend as well as the original. The original hooks are very good.
Can you explain the adjustment to the transducer 2:40 ?
Is it to get center of screen 12 o'clock to the side of the boat?
