This is a great idea. I was military for years but now I’m a civilian and live in a great neighborhood with great like minded people. However, they have no training and look to me for answers. Well, I don’t have all the answers. I have some but certainly not all. But this video is a great one to share because God forbid shit does go sideways. They will have a better understanding and at least a good reference point with this video. Thank you!!
@@ExecutiveTrainingGroup Fantastic Video, but I’m disappointed. A lot of use use PDWs, wether it be Pistol with Stocks/Grips, AR Pistols, Conversion Kits, and especially where I’m from, SMGs, more specifically the MP7 is the most widely used home defense gun in my location. Most of us are not using an M4 for Home Defense. And that’s what all the CQB videos all show is with a MK18, m4, or 416. If you could even just do a small separate videos on very short barreled and/or PDW Manipulations and ready/carry positions etc, that would be so super appreciated by so many people. A whole broader audience.
Living in an area with no local police in the entire county, and only 2 full time patrol deputies in the Sheriff Department. These are worthwhile skills to acquire and keep honed. Ultimately, you are your own first responder.
Just got to chapter 2 and Gota say good job so far and love that your using door kickers as a training aid. I’ve said this since it first came out and used it for my guys back in the day. I’d also say you should try adding some sort of number or picture game to track where your students eyes are when they enter. A good amount of them seem to be looking at the deck instead of up and in front. Did somthing like this when my students and guys would “search and assess” after a drill.
Yeah, I will actually talk about that a little later. It is because when there is no stimulus people look down to think about foot work. Haven't seen it in force on force because when the possibility of something shooting back and moving is there eyes tend to stay up but a bad habit none the less. Good catch.
Great video. Good info and easy to follow. I understand why we can’t put out the real videos and stuff the military uses. But it’s a shame that. Not enough guys who have done this both mil/ Leo don’t create content like this to show regular people just how to protect themself in any situation. It could be getting out of your house or even getting out of a store in a bad situation. Also love that you used door kickers for aids.
Honestly, You would be surprised that there is really no secret to CQB maybe things to communicate and certain small things. What makes high level units good at this is how much they practice as a team. Glad you enjoyed the video though! I think the tide is turning and more and more people are okay with people training this stuff.
Only a fool limits himself in any way. You’ll never lose out by learning and growing in any skill. Regardless of you use it or not. I read tons of books, some I gain very little from but it adds to what I’ve already grown into.
During the summer of love in 2020 this was highly relevant and used by civilians protecting their property and community! Myself and all of the other residents were very active in patrolling our community. It was very real to Antifa as well. They promptly changed their minds and stayed on their own side of the state line where they were protected by the Governor. Good call for everyone.
Just got to your foot work portion of the video. If you haven’t heard of them, Orion training group has a fantastic video/ guide on foot work and a great set up you can place on your floor anywhere, that shows you where each foot should go for j-hook and flow through. Would be a great add to this video. Ronin tactics also has a great theory on changing your feet up for better stance when pie/paning.
At 44:00 if you have someone to hold your angle a second bang can really shake someone's day up. Coming out of that bathroom to another bang with a guy holding that corner would have sucked.
I appreciate your intent however I don't believe this is for civilians, you mention MILITARY countless times the average civilian not only doesn't understand your terminology but also don't work in teams unless your referring to Militia type organizations. Civilian also are not outfitted with ballistic vests and helmets etc. Military tactics and team tactics have a place however not usually in a civilian setting where the equipment and teams are not feasible in 80% if not more of civilian CQB scenarios. The Military and SWAT team in my opinion not feasible in the general public and civilian worlds. Most civilians will not be using tricked out AR-15/M4's as well. Just my opinion this is not civilian oriented. Even your background as I read above is primarily Military and SWAT and very good training in those areas.
Door kickers 2 task force north it is a Birds Eye view game that procedurally generates shoot houses and buildings with you controlling a assault element of multiple operators and it uses proper CQB and CQC doctrine and theory so you can test knowledge of entry methods and room/door formats to see if how you would approach a assault and if how you approach it would be a successful solution or method

Criminally Underrated
I really wish I could give this 2 likes. Please keep up this. Dirty Civilian all day
nothing dirty about being a civilian lol just like there doesn't have to be anything bro about being a vet lol

Solid information and analysis of the CQB space!

That's a great idea. After training you get to ask "What were the letters in each room?"
Long overdue!

Nice. Next step add gear, and movement into the position.
Thats actually a very solid idea

Fires keep you from having to clear structures. Just a thought.
Door Kickers 2 really is a good way to demo stuff from the top down. Really wish they'd add a feature that let's us make our own maps though >_>
Door Kickers 1 has that feature.
@@Rockethead293 It does? It's not a mod? It's a shame 2 doesn't have it because the movement options are better :
@@3nertia Yep it does have it vanilla. Very cool to mess around and challenge yourself with CQB hell
Reason number 1 to make this video - theres an over 50% chance the information will be relevant in our lifetimes. People poking fun are hollow

Lol 😂 I saw that too 7:32 BTW
Ayeeeee door kickers is my shit lmaoooo
How ironice... I'm watching this as Door Kickers 2 is loading up on my cpu lol
What software was that for the cqb?
It is a game called door kickers two
Well 90% of americans live in cities or high populated suburbs

As us civilian. It’s your duty to learn gun fighting. It’s in our constitution.
