There' a few shows where I wish they would follow this approach. It's not always appropriate, but if there are deep connections between multiple love interests then it becomes less of an issue. All the rejection and heartbreak in anime has its place, but it's overload a lot of the time. Happy endings for the win.

There was a scene in the novel, when Elinalize Tallhand and Roxy travelled together, Roy was siting on a forest clearing until an unicorn approached her, then petted it until it slept on her lap
Then Roxy killed it and harvested the horn

Also, apparently there is some important cut content this time, LN readers are not happy about it missing. I wished MT would get the Re:zero season 2 treatment with episodes longer than 20 minutes.
Unless they go back to the season one team for season three I'm afraid we're stuck with spoiler filled OP/EDs taking up a fifth of the run time. They left out a lot this season from the LNs that drastically change how people would feel about a variety of things that happened. If people like watching the anime and can handle reading a book, the LN volumes are great and easy reads with far more character insight and world building.
According to the LN, Roxy lost her V card, but the anime is doing things quite differently from the LN with this episode. They didn't make a note of it in the anime (like they did with Sylphie), so I don't know one way or the other. I don't disagree with the changes the anime made to the light novel's story, because it puts the responsibility for their actions squarely on Rudy and Roxy rather than them being manipulated as in the light novel. (Roxy only heard a discussion about how sex might pull Rudy out of his depression, and Elinalise absolutely refused to do it, and that's where Roxy got the idea. So the manipulation with her wasn't on purpose, but in the light novel, it wasn't originally her idea. In Rudy's case, he was outright manipulated by Elinalise into proposing to Roxy.)
Rudy was overwhelmed as a 5-year-old (in this world) because he still had a shut-in mentality and was terrified of going outside the gate of his home. He was still traumatized by the bullying he received in his first year of high school. At least until his last full day with Roxy, the day of his "graduation," when she led him outside.

No, Sylphie never really met Roxy in Buena village. Roxy cured Rudy's trauma regarding going outside. Then she left to improve her own magic, and it was after that when Rudy ventured outside to meet Sylphie. It's possible that Sylphie might have seen Roxy in the village, but if so, I never heard of it.

If anything, the discussion should be about Rudy NOT following Sylphie's reccommendation/expectation to acquire a "Concubine", and adding a "Wife" instead. The difference is distinct enough to be a point of potential friction, even among the general populations of the world's NON-Millis adherents.
Also a mark for Rudy's development that he has to be pushed in that direction, by multiple people, rather than diving in as his fantasies would have led him to believe. (Literally she has to throw him into bed, climb on top and exert Ara-Ara energy .... very much like Eris did)

Well, it depends on culture.
In some, any women marrying a married man would be treated as concubine, or mistress.
But in other, she would be treated as wife.
In the novel she says he can have another wife. Not concubine. Wife.
But even in the anime Sylphys inner monologue suggests that she expects Rudy to have more wives
