Women have more options than ever especially on online dating when it's more about looks.
1 woman gets dozens of messages in her inbox but 1 man gets a few messages a day.
Were both humans it shouldn't matter which gender does what 1st.
If a woman is interested in the man 1st she can ask him on a date, she can initiate kissing, touching, sex or proposing.
All those things shouldn't be on 1 gender to do each gender can decide or take turns on who goes 1st.

One of the frustrations this video hits on is "why isn't the guy I like, responding?"
The fact is, not every woman who flirts has good intentions. If your a guy who gets flirted with often you have to be able to tell the difference between a woman flirting for an ego stroke, or to male her friend jealous, or her friend likes you and she's just feeling you out, because she doesn't know how else to interact with men, so on and so on. Addtionally, there is always the fear that if you give in too early, she will think you just chase anything that comes your way.
So part of that is to add a little resistance, not to respond right away just because someone gave you eyes.
Also, the way I have seen things is there is the initial "invite" where the girl gives you the signal "come talk to me" then after you approach, good flirting is about testing to see where the boundaries are. Sparing is to boxing what flirting is to sex. Its more about ebb and flow, than anything.

  • @sofiabravo1994

I came to a revelation! I never realized I was chasing after the guy since I was in school, it was cute once in 8th grade but as I got a bit older I noticed guys didn’t seem to respond to my quest or would let me down gently, I was always chasing guys that were not interested (probably because I wasn’t cute 😂) anyways my mom was quite the 2nd wave feminist but she would always tell me to let men approach me, it looks desperate and needy the other way around. I would get “angsty” and say girls can choose now mom! Grrr you’re so old fashioned! I ignored a lot of her good advice and behold I was heartbroken a lot! 🥴 I was in a rush to have romantic experiences because I wanted to know what it was like to have a guy love me and to love back. It was always portrayed as perfect on tv but that’s whole different dilemma. Anyways I was always going after the man up into my 20th year. When I met my husband he was always coming to me I don’t recall ever going to him…I was still very immature but I was starting to grasp on some things. I’m 27 now been married over 5 years and Abby is right. Sometimes it’s the old fashioned way of approaching things that work most often. Girls don’t chase him if you’re not getting him to at least come up and say hi after you initiated interest then move on…trust me you aren’t losing anything.

Let me guess, it would it offend you that i think women can only be housewives/ give birth? Women shouldn’t have ambitions, goals, or hobbies? But it’s what animals do though? The part about realizing when a guy is just not interested and moving on is SO important! I think a lot of us women have a tendency to try to "turn" a man, and we often have this annoying tendency to be attracted to the emotionally distant guys and the guys that aren't interested over the guys that ARE interested. I think based on my own experiences, it's an ego problem- like it's flattering when all the other guys seem to like you but you get obsessed with the one guy who doesn't seem interested. He's more mysterious. And it's like some kind of subconscious urge to need to get his attention and interest in order to still feel desirable. I have been so guilty of this, and I'm glad you're warning other women of it cuz it's a nasty and painful trap to fall into.

    • @gastondoumerc7863

Best comment here. Thanks for giving an honest response and thoughtful insight. It can also be uncomfortable for us guys who's just are not interested, and yet she continues to pursue in an effort to "convince." We probably need to be more clear/firm, but we don't want to come across as a jerk.

    • @-_Nuke_-
      @-_Nuke_- 2 місяці тому

That isn't a mystery... You are essentially saying that you want this person that isn't thinking about you... Why would a guy not be thinking about you? Because he has other Women to think about - he is a high value guy - and you just can't cope with that. So its not an ego thing - you are literally saying that you want this 1 guy that all the other Women want... Duh...
That's why I say to Men - have sex with hookers, and escorts so that you can then be able to get sex out of their minds (since they satisfied that need), and Women will want to get to seduce them, because they will not be thinking about sex anymore when they are talking to them. That's the only way that I know how to help a guy out.

One of the best lines a woman has ever used on me. After we had been talking for a few weeks.
I was telling her about my day, she gets coy and looks away with a smile as if day dreaming, and when I ask "what?" She donesnt even look at me, just says, almost wondering:
"Sometimes you say or do these little random things and I think; if I was a boy, this is how I would be....."
then she bounced away to eat nuts or something.
I had been trying my hardest to play it cool, but that line, yup. Def melted. It was all I could do not to follow her to go eat nuts, or whatever. I had to take a cold shower and talk with friends to get her out of my head after that. Even knowing, she was completely full of shit it's still one of the best lines I've ever heard. ( she was just being competitive with a friend of hers who liked me)

Curious what you think is an appropriate age to begin dating or having serious conversations with special guy friends about the future. If you are 12 it’s obviously a bit early to even know what you think about the world but when do you cross that line where you can seriously consider a man for your future? Thanks!

I knew people in high school who were dating for marriage and knew their values. If you are dating for the right reasons and know what you are looking for, I think you can date at a younger age! It's all about dating with purpose, so if you can do that from a younger age (and not act on those high school hormones!), go for it!

As a man, I thought I'd sort of review this list so yall can get another perspective on this.
    1) In her first point, I don't think Abby says anything completely untrue, but I felt like it was easy to get the wrong impression. If a guy isn't interested in you right now, that doesn't mean you don't have a chance with him. I've known plenty of girls who I didn't pursue, but who could've gotten a date with me if they tried. Most of the time, I don't Make a move because I don't feel like the girl is interested in me, and actually, similar to what Abby was saying, I don't want to waste my time on someone who just isn't interested in me.
The message I believe Abby was trying to get across is, show him you want to get to know him better, and if he doesn't reciprocate, then move on. Now, some guys are gonna be unsure about things, even if you think you've made it very clear you're into him. Sometimes you'll literally have to look him in the eye and say "I like you" for him to understand. If after that, he's still not pursuing you, then move on. Either he's lazy, he's still too nervous (which is his problem, not yours), or he's completely uninterested.
    2) Eye contact is super important. She's totally correct, it can be extremely sexy without being sexual. Just looking at a guy the right way can spark that interest we talked about in the first section. That said, it doesn't necessarily communicate that you want a conversation. Yes, he may want to be the pursuer, but again, he might need a little more encouragement than a meaningful glance in his direction. I don't like to make a lot of assumptions when it comes to romance. There have been a few girls who I could've sworn were into me, who completely did not think of me that way. Likewise, I'm sure there have been several girls who had fantasies about me, but I never paid much attention to them because their signals were just too ambiguous.
And again, don't be too afraid of taking the helm and being the pursuer for a while. I don't ever want to feel like I'm putting no effort into a relationship, but it can be sexy for the woman to show that she's not just along for the ride either.
    3) I can't agree more on this point. If you're talking too much, it can be overwhelming or make me feel like I'm not working for this, which detracts somewhat from the fun of having a woman's attention.
I personally don't think you should laugh at jokes you don't think are funny, but it does feel good when you acknowledge the effort. Better than that though, is if you can add to it somehow to make it funny. Not everyone is quick enough to pull this off, but the serendipity when it does work will probably get him more interested in you than if you just laughed at his unfunny joke. To learn how to do this effectively, I recommend a UA-cam channel called "Charisma on Command". The format of those videos (in my opinion) makes it easy to learn to apply the concepts he explains.
Once again, I completely agree that men love it when it seems like women enjoy being around us.
    4) This is another point I cannot agree more about. Makeup is wonderful, but really, keep it as minimal as possible. If I don't instantly know you're wearing makeup, then you probably did a great job. Use it to draw attention to the beauty you already have, especially your eyes. For fancier occasions, don't be afraid to crack out the Crimson lipstick (bright red lips are indescribably sexy) and a bit of glitter, but your natural features should be the main focus.
That's not to say that there isn't a time to go all out, but for flirting, you should present a mostly natural look.
As she was saying with wearing the right clothing, a lot of girls get this wrong. (Not the girls I'd expect to click on this video, but still.) If you're blessed with "a good figure," that's a great tool you have for getting a guy's attention, but you don't want to use it for much more than just getting his attention. In this context, you're trying to get to know if this guy's gonna be a good partner for you. That has everything to do with how your personalities mesh, and nothing to do with how hot he thinks you are. So wear something that compliments your body, not puts it on display. I like seeing a woman's chest just as much through a t shirt as a tight tank top, and honestly, the t shirt does a better job highlighting your waist as well. I like looking at a girl's legs just as much through jeans as when they're bare. (Better yet, a loose skirt. Jeans do a great job highlighting your hips, but something about a skirt is just better.) You can be just as sexy while being modest, and dressing modestly tells me something about your personality that makes me more likely to develop an interest in you.
I can't say a lot about how, strategically, to do your perfume, but I agree with Abby here too. When you smell good, that's powerful.
    5) Abby put this better than I could've, but again, I'll plug the channel "Charisma on Command". He has one or two videos about romance, and he touches on this even better than I think Abby did.

@@jessicarose2286 That's true. Well, some clothes (like hoodies, sweatpants, really any baggy pants) are generally not flattering, so if you're trying to get a guy's attention, not just anything will work. There's also different body types and all that, which lend themselves better to different clothes, so there's not always a clear answer of what will make you look your best. That said, always maintain some standard of modesty and from there you can work out the rest.

It’s almost 2022, women can do the chasing too, most don’t because they’re scared. That’s fine, it’s scary getting rejected.
