I'm not a wasabi expert, but I think the wasabi looked "diluted" because it's real wasabi. Real wasabi doesn't have that bright green color like the store-bought kind does (which is mostly just horseradish).
@@user-em6gy6ir6l real wasabi does have a looser consistency than packaged kind. when its freshly grated it has a "watery" look to it, like fresh grated ginger. it is grated on a texture board. also wasabi powder is very potent hence why horseradish is usually used as a base in prepackaged wasabi. So it isnt wasabi powder mixed with water, it is probably fresh or at least partly fresh.

Can I confuse this even more? In Australia, we call green onions, shallot as well. We also call them spring onions and scallions. I’m referring to the long green onion with the beard on it. We also have the little purple shallots and all the items that you may refer to as something different but we also like to confuse people.
@Vickie we also call the long green ones green onions in Australia. And I've never known shallots to be anything other than the small purple onions 🤷♀️

I assume 2 ramen is $44, 2 special roll is $42, gyoza is $12, 2 coke is $8, rice is $6, 2 sauce is $4. Then add 8.75% sales tax to make it $127. It ain't cheap. I work as a waiter in a japanese restaurant. All of these items would have been 2 to 6 dollars less.
That’s pretty decent especially cuz of what type of food it is, just my sister and I going to a sushi restaurant cost $90 given she ate like 6 plates whilst I only finished one plate and 2 fresh mochi that LITERALLY cost $20 together. When eating out for dinner my family spends a good $150-$200. We don’t eat out a lot but when we do we’re eating $1 noodles for the rest of the week😅
thats an expensive place! i wonder if the roll with caviar bumped the price up a lot, because that order would have been $60-$70 at one of my local ramen shops

That’s most likely not real wasabi as it’s expensive and restaurants like this won’t serve it. It’s mostly in high end restaurants.
