Unfortunately spiders never win this fight even though they could win very easily, most tarantula’s are quite reluctant to bite when provoked. If the tarantula would act the same way as it would act when dealing with prey the wasp would be gone in less than half a second..
The spider is usually screwed at this point. As much as I believe nature has to take its course, I would find it hard not to go and stand on the wasp, hateful wee bastards they are.
It's thought that the wasp exudes an odor that makes the tarantula less aggressive. That is likely the key to the overwhelming victory to the wasp in these encounters.
how I hate hawk wasps, I love spiders and it always hurts to see the hawk win, although it's not even about winning, just the knowledge of what fate awaits these spiders
I have only seen 2 instances where the tarantula won. I must say, I feel bad for the guys. I would try to cup the tarantula and go back inside so the wasp wouldn’t sting me. then once the wasp left I would look for a female for him.
The wasp is like that pyscho ex that refuses to let go
Sorry that happened to you, sounds stressful and I hope it has gotten better for you
"Fascinating?"

Yes, you are 100% correct, thank you for watching!
Spider
The hawk is too fast for it. Tarantulas are ambush predators. They're heavy and slow.
Actually, it’s not never it’s most of the time, like 98%. There are some videos online where the tarantula does actually maim the wasp.

Yes, was not fun to watch.
I’ve watched many of these battles and just once I’d love to see the spider win
I hear you. I feel bad for the tarantula!
It's trying it best 🕷
@@Bigchristmas-gw5ww that all any of us can do, right?
@@isipwater absolutely
If you want to see a spider win on a draw, look up bird eating spider vs tarantula hawk. They KO each other.

This epic battle happened in my Tucson driveway!
If I were you I'd have killed the wasp. They always win, and the death for the majestic spider isn't nice.
@@sandlmv8301 Yeah, it is sad to see tarantulas die like this. The circle of life can be cruel.
Living up to its name.
Indeed!

So cool :)
Thank you. It was very unexpected to see this. Just taking out the trash!
Imagine taking a normal walk and then randomly a little kid starts to bother the heck out of you ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
Imagine all the people living for today...wohohohooo

There are a few videos of a tarantula winning.
Who won? I didn’t see either attack.
Well, sadly the tarantula lost and that is what usually happens in these types of fights, thank you for watching!
Hideaway !!!
Crazy Tucson wildlife 🤪
Tucson is terrific!
It's enjoying the life

Yeah right...
@@klarabarunovic9841 It was hard to watch for sure
Why tarantula hawk always win ?
The Tarantula is like a big cow and the Tarantula Hawk is like a smaller but deadlier wolf. In this battle, size does not matter.
The most out of place music I've ever heard.
