    Very nice review! I recently purchased a 2018 Mercedes e300 and I absolutely love the car.It does get a lot of attention when I go places. I really like some of changes they made in 2021 specifically the inside (technology wise). Good video!

    Kevin,
    You keep emphasising leasing this E350. On that, I would agree.
    With that engine and 9 speed transmission you couldn’t wait to give it back after 36 months!
    The smart “Buy” is really a Lexus ES 350 with a V6 and a 6 or now, 8 speed trans. Just the epitome of smooth reliability and long life.
    Nine speed transmissions are all hype for those who want to win pissing contests and have to feel them constantly trying to find the right gear!
    I still love ya!

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  3 роки тому +2

      Well yea Leasing is really the best way to buy virtually any new car especially with these prices. Yea I guess if you wanted to keep a car long term ES would make more sense but that's kind of irrelevant for someone with disposable income and just wants to drive the best car possible and simply write it off

    One of the things I don't really like is the design of the exterior, it mainly applies to the S class just because they all look like the A class

  • @SibRevs
    @SibRevs 3 роки тому +4

    The new interiors coming out from Mercedes, though still nice, are missing that classical luxurious touch of this generation car. I feel like they're trying to be "all things to all people". But in doing so, they are sacrificing what makes a Mercedes special.

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  3 роки тому +1

      Yea it's just a screen now in their cars no real interior to speak of moving forward

  • @BN99239
    @BN99239 3 роки тому +3

    I test drove one of these without the top-stitched upholstery and the dash and upper part of the door look and feel really cheap, like a weird rubbery material. I have a C63 and the leather upholstery really makes it look super luxurious. I don't think these cars look nice inside at all without this option. I'm not sure why Mercedes would even make this an option because at this price range, it's better to just include it and price in the cost. It makes so much of a difference that I've had friends and family being turned off from it just purely from this single option alone when they go shopping for a Mercedes.
    Do you feel that the car is too big? I wanted to upgrade to an E class, and although the E63 is incredible in terms of power, it feels really big and somewhat numb to me. The steering is also somewhat loose and not as sharp. Maybe it's just the size of the car and the way they have the suspension setup because it's suppose to be a softer and more relaxing ride than the C class.

  • @theodoreyoung8777
    @theodoreyoung8777 3 роки тому +2

    Definitely seems like a pretty good E class bro as far as exterior styling goes though like the old classic Mercedes Benz looks for all their classes over most of today’s Mercedes Benz looks

    I feel like so many luxury cars trims these days look too similar. This E class looks like the A class. I wish there was a drastic contrast like in the early 2000s where you could tell without a doubt the trim level.

    What’s plaguing Mercedes right now, in my opinion, is they’ve put so much work into making the cars lightweight that they don’t have that heavy bank vault feeling on the road anymore. They feel flimsy and tin-canny and they are unsettled over rough patches of road. The other major issue is the interiors are gorgeous but they are major crunch boxes. Even when brand new they creak, crack and rattle excessively especially over bumps and ruts in the road. Even minor ones. Both of these issues make you feel like you’re driving a 1990s Kia instead of a luxury car.

    • @spxvfx
      @spxvfx 3 роки тому

      is 3,781 pounds lightweight? apparently the old suspension used to be on the early 2017 models, but not on the new ones. but I can confirm it does creak if you force your hand on the dash

      You are so right! The front of all of them look similar. The biggest give away if you saw one on the road or parked are the head lights. The C class has 1 led strip integrated into the headlights, the E class 2 and the S class 3. From a distance driving up on one from behind is where it gets tricky. I have an E class and I mistake C classes all the time from behind until I see the rear badge.

    If you get a chance to drive the e450 I'd be interested in hearing how the turbo lag / laggy transmission compares. One thing I don't like about my F30 328i is the off-boost lag, especially around town. By the time you punch it and the car decides what it wants to do, it's too late -- you're already done coasting through the yellow light you were trying to speed up for (for example).

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  3 роки тому +1

      I already did the E450 but it was a convertible E450. Regardless, some lag still persists but it's not too terrible about what expect out of a turbocharged motor with a lot of gears
