Thanks for sharing! I figured out the getting in the car one, but not going up the steps or rolling over. Rolling over at night is THE MOST PAINFUL thing ever.
Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction is often underreported in pregnancy or in my case was dismissed for round ligament pain by an OBGYN and when I changed to a Midwife she told me about pubic Symphysis and if I were to birth on my back it could cause Symphysis Seperation and pelvic floor issues. Listen to your bodies ladies ❤️
Try to put a pillow in between your tights/knees. It is a life saver for me! I can’t sleep without my memory foam pillow there. I had pain all day long and it stopped since I’ve started using the pillow hack at night, the pain comes back only late evening. I hope it helps you.
Thankyou I needed this, I’ve been suffering with symphysis pubis pain bad for a while now and it’s excruciating turning in bed or lifting one leg up at a time to just get dressed.
I was in excruciating pain with my first for most of my pregnancy and I did all of these but I screamed in agony regardless. It felt like I was being ripped in half from my crotch and also grinding my pelvic bones together at the same time. It was unbearable. I could sit, stand, lay down or anything without being in excruciating pain. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. This would probably work for someone who's pgp isn't severe though! I was a lost cause and my doctor never sent me to physio or anything, she didn't even know what was wrong with me. I found out myself and then she was like "yeah thats it" then proceeded to not guide me in the right direction. I have a slightly better doctor this time around who at least acknowledges that I have it but she also hasn't suggested physio or anything. Are doctors just clueless about pgp? Or do they just think me screaming in agony is fake? I really wish I knew.
I literally went through the exact same thing midwife had no clue what was going on and gave no guidance. I literally had to do my own research. I fear getting pregnant again because of it!!
I am almost considering getting a walker again. Like $5-1$10 at a thrift store and I just donate after baby comes (I've done it before...) my midwife said with where my babies head was sitting for baby 1 could be exasperating it, and for all 3 viable pregnancies all my midwives (across 2 different birth centers) have recommended exercises, maternity support bands, and chiropractor visits (although I do not have a supportive village to get childcare for appointments, otherwise I'd try).
Same, most of doctors don’t have any clue about pgp/spd. I consulted 5 gynaecologists and finally someone was able to diagnose my unbearable pain as pgp. But still no treatment available except rest and paracetamol which does bare minimum to the pain.
The keeping the legs together while turning over and getting in the car is the worst. Any suggestions for long car rides and making the more comfortable?
Keeping my knees together while rolling over in bed or changing sleep position really helps me even tho it’s still painful and I’m immediately awake whenever I have to change the position 😢😅
Thanks for this tips Have been doing my pre natal exercises back to back hoping it will reduce the pain but there wasn’t any changes I will have to modify with this yoga wen doing my daily exercises then Thanks
I try all that but it still hurt like hell idk if to worry or not. It’s affecting my everyday routine I can berrly walk. Does that happen to anyone or just me?
I am 9 weeks postpartum and the pain has not gone away. It is not as severe as when i was pregnant but im srill getting that pain whenever I lay down. I have no idea what to do, I am hoping it goes away.
I was spreading my legs apart when getting out the bed and ouch did it hurt so much. I tried keeping my knees together this time and omg it does help 😅

She’s so right. I have SEVERE pelvic pain and changed all of these with a huge reduction in pain.
I've noticed having my feet closer together does actually reduce /stop pelvic pain. Thanks for confirming this theory
Most needed advice at most needed time....thank you

Mine was so bad I couldn't walk after 7 months. Had to go on maternity leave early from 8 months pregnant.
I’m right there with you. I’m 8 months and can barely move anymore.

Thank YOU as always, Celine! ❤️
What's the seat cushion that you use on your car seat? It looks awesome
I'll try this, although my worst pain is getting up from a sitting position. can't imagine I'm keeping my feet far apart. :/

Maybe this is why I’m having so much pain. I live in a stacked townhouse so we have lots of stairs, I didn’t realize that sideways walking can help!

I do all of these because it naturally feels more comfortable to get around but unfortunately the pain is still there
I'm sorry you are still having pain. Are you able to see a pelvic floor physical therapist?
@@PregnancyandPostpartumTV Idk where to find one, plus I am sure I have to pay these specialists, which I can't afford
But sleep left side is more better
