Why can we not use standards as controls ?

Standards and controls are solutions of which we know the concentration. Then why can we not use standards as controls also. To answer this question, watch the video. I will discuss concepts of colorimetry, the equation, the role of controls and calibrators and why we can not use one for the other

Not exactly. The company usually add multiple things to make their standard give good reading with their kit. Even in different lots of sme company kit, u can't use the different standards for calibration.

Sir, it is not audible .kindly rectify this.controls days are quite expensive. Lypholysed controls once reconstituted their stability is a question.Affordabilty is another issue
