Overland Expo West - Trail Fire Grill, Overland Coffee, Shower Pouch

- My friend Jimmy and I go back about 5 years, back when we both drove Subaru Foresters XTs. Back then he was the “FotoFoz”, but today he goes by @RoamRX ( / roamrx )
On the final day at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff Arizona we had a left over frozen pizza that wouldn’t fit in my refrigerator. We planned on cooking it in a pot and hoping for the best, but luckily Jimmy was demoing the “Trail Fire Grill”, which is not only a propane fire pit, but it’s also a grill, wok, oven and it uses the wok as a hard cover to keep all the lava rocks contained during transportation.
Please note: these aren’t my typical videos, I’m just trying to cover Overland Expo, so I could bring the experience to those that weren’t fortunate enough to attend.

The guys that made trail fire are the local mtb trail builders and came up with this idea while building trails. Pretty cool to see how well they are doing ! Pretty versatile setup

I have the trailfire. Overall, I like it, but my wok came with gouges in it. All trailfire could tell me is it comes how it's supposed to come.
These look nice. My dad gave me something very similar for my birthday 15 years ago. No idea the brand though as its not labeled. This thing is only 20 lbs. which is great. (part carbon fiber?) I think mine weights at least 35 lbs. and slightly smaller circumference LOL We never thought to make pizza with it though =)

Oh YES, the 4-n-1 grill. Was not able to get one at the Expo, but I will have one later on.
As far as coffee, I saw the coffee booth. However, I am not much of a coffee drinker unless it has coco in it. Come up with a coffee & coco blend and I'll be on board.
Coffee and cocoa is my go to as well. Actually, im drinking a cup now as I respond to UA-cam comments 😃
@@JonDZ_Adventuring I have my 4-n-1 grill now. Mark from Trail Fire is awesome👍. I still need to get the pizza stone, but not in a rush for it. I took the wok and seasoned it using the oven method😎, then cooked some bacon and potatoes for the first cook. The seasoning of the wok looks GOOD. Has good color 👍😀
