      Easily 100k....then 50k used in a year. Rams have bad resale. They make too many and have to deep discount to move them. They are offering 9k off 1500s right now!!!

    Hope we see them in Australia soon. RAM is now established as a brand in Australia and is outselling the Ford and Chev HD trucks here by a considerable margin. In just 5 years on sale here, we are about to have the 50,000th RAM delivered - not bad for a country of only 27 million people. Although there are some quality issues...........diffs seem to fail regularly before 20,000 miles.

    Speaking on seat comfortability. I sat in a lot of previous gen models - I too noticed they were uncomfortable. Until I sat and purchased the Limited 2500 Mega cab with actual leather seats. It was a huge difference and so very comfortable. I've had mine for over 74,000 miles and they keep getting more comfy to sit in. Passengers in the back enjoy setting back there and compare the seats to the OG 2004 tahoe and Yukons which if you've sat in one of those you'd know how comfy they are.

    Ram's decision to eliminate the upper glove box in favor of a stupid screen on Longhorn and higher trims, seems idiotic to me. If a front passenger screen must be offered, then make it an optional extra! Sheesh! The passenger side upper glove box on my 2020 Ram 1500 is really handy; its much easier to reach into from the driver's seat than the lower glove box. C'MON, RAM!!!

      TBH, many of the people buying these are buying for capability, which it offers, and reliability. They don't care if the body is from 2010. Besides, they've been updating the styling regularly, so it doesn't show it's age.

    That Rebel in the dark blue is gorgeous. Also, nice updates to the Cummins - lots of things that will help with reliability. Especially CP3 -> CP4.

    There was a rumor the Cummins went back to a traditional iron block (as opposed to the CGI block they’ve had for 5-6 years now). Any confirmation on this, as it seems like that’s not the case and this is just a slightly revised prior engine.

      @ yes. They are still using the 4th gen cab. Wish they update the HDs with the actual 5th gen cab instead of just making front end updates to make it look like a 5th gen.

      @@vipraz119 I’m just saying it seems fine as is. Maybe a flat floor in the back but at the same time for most of the intended consumer I don’t think that’s too big an issue. What other benefits would updating the cab bring? Alex mentioned uncomfortable seats, but that’s kinda a separate issue and can be changed independently.

    What ever happened to giving the customer options???? I want to delete the passenger screen, delete the digital cluster, and be able to choose if I want the 12 inch or 14 inch screen regardless of the trim. And let me choose from multiple interior colors and what style of headlight design. If I want the older style over the new one I should be able to make that choice!!!!

    Love my 2020 3500 Longhorn. I don't think they made enough changes. Should have adopted the 1500 cab and also added HUD. Not a fan of the new front end. The engine and 8-speed is the best changes they made.

    Did they improve the air conditioning? Meaning the air when on LO cold comes out at 42 degrees versus my 2020 Ram 2500 where the air comes out at 55 degrees which is to factory specs. I love my truck and it tows our fifth wheel like a demon but it’s air conditioning sucks . In 100° plus weather it takes 20 to 30 minutes to cool off the cab. I compare that to my wife’s suburban, which is a black vehicle and in 100 degree plus weather the vehicle cools off in less than five minutes because the cold air comes out at 42° which is what all the competition has their factory specs at. The only reason why a Ford or GM product looks better to me now than my RAM is the air conditioning. I keep waiting for someone to tell me RAM finally fixed that?

      Really? I'm surprised. I have a 2022 Ram 2500 and the AC in Texas heat is amazing, it actually gets too cold sometimes. Takes maybe 5 min after sitting in parking lot all day. Mine is the 6.4L Gas. Not sure about the Diesel.

    One thing that comes to my mind is that the fact that the intake manifold is cast aluminum just means to me that sooner rather than later the intake manifold is going the crack or large pieces come off due to vibrations or hard hits like pot holes and such.

      If your engine is producing that amount of vibration or you hit a pothole big enough to have any worry of cracking a component attached to the engine, I think you have much bigger things to worry about than an intake manifold.

    Did they " refresh" the lifters and or the destruction thereof in the hemis??? What good is the truck with the gas engine if it is not durable and reliable to 300,000 miles? We are not dealing with all the diesel hoops to jump through..

      Our 2005 300c hemi will be 25 years old in April. The only thing to go bad on the car since new was 2 suspension bushings and the A/C clutch last October.

      ZF does make a great transmission. Little bit picky on having the maintenance done on time from what I have heard.
      I would say of all the transmissions out there I would pick ZF or Allison. The Allison transmissions in the GM products are also really robust. And do a great job of transferring torque efficiently and smoothly.

      Technically the 10 speed 'Allison' transmission is a GM inhouse design & built transmission, it has been approved by Allison though.

    What gets me on the technology on the 6.7 they can do this upgrade anytime bet they want to but what gets me is they can tell what you are doing to your truck if you add a pedal monster or if you add a tune to it anything you add to the truck it's going to tell the factory that you are doing this now butt butt butt butt oh no it can't do that right or does it?
    I don't trust it.
    2 thumbs down on it just for that reason oh and don't forget you're going to be paying them for that upgrade when you buy the truck so it can tattletale on you😂😂😂

    I would have to disagree. Ram has the smallest cab. I'm 6'6 The Chevy has the most comfortable cab. The seat goes very low and very far away from the dash and the Ram. My knees are jammed into the dash, and my head touches the roof.

    For all that money and capability its sad to see Ram is still rolling on Firestone Transforce tires. My HD Ram was pathetic off the pavement until I finally got rid of the Firestones and switched to some Coopers. It was night and day. Those stock tires would have my truck spinning on wet grass. For all that money, give the buyer a decent tire, there are plenty of them out on the market right now.

    As a dodge/ Ram guy, i can say with confidence that there is nothing legendary about the modern cummins turbo diesels. They killed all the great things about it that it used to have. Unreliable, hydraulic roller lifters, piss poor cp4 garbage, and yo top it all of. Theyy took out a grid heater and gave it problematic glow plugs. I think i will keep my 98 dodge cummins for life. Back when you could fix it yourself without lifting the cab. So sad. How in the world are we still getting a 4th gen body and cab? Im so disappointed in how Ram has fallen since 2019. Go back to the basics and offer a first gen again, super reliable, basic, something that lasts forever.

      I think Glow plugs would be more reliable. That Grid heater had a habit of dropping a bolt or nut from it into the intake... and BOOM.. new engine.
      Easy fix but many have failed over it.

      @kens97sto171 cus they used plastic to hold it together on the last setup. The grid heater has been in 1989 to present cummins engines, and until now, they have never had a problem with it. Just don't use crap materials to hold engines parts together.

    I think everybody want to see a new body style. Same body style for the last 15 years, this dodge ram looks old with a new paint job and a semi front end. They just keep adding a bunch of stuff to the front end every year and making look like a semi hood cause the front end it's way bigger than the rest of the truck.

    Too many things left unaddressed with the redesign. Same cab. Yawn. Dropped the 4.10 and 3.73. GVWR and payload numbers abysmal especially on the 2500's. So the interior is nice, big deal - so is Ford's and GM's but they have substantially better payload and GVWR numbers. I give RAM a "C" on this at best.
