Really like the adition of a memory watch Jodie. I have an old Lorus watch in my box that my dad got as a gift from his first real job, it’s sitting next to the old prisma watch that was my granddads. They aren’t anything expensive or fancy. But they hold the most value by far in my collection. Having 3 generations of watches in my box feels really special. Nice video!

On Christmas day I put on my grandfather's 1963 Omega dress watch he received for 42 years service. I wound and set it about 2 weeks before and it kept perfect time.
My favorite beater watch is a plastic Q & Q watch with a rubber strap that I bought here in Sweden for the equivalent of roughly 30 US dollars. Simple, analog 40 mm dial that tells the time, that's it. This is the watch that got me into watches, and why I am watching this channel right now. I wear it every day for work. 3 years and still going strong.

I SCUBA dived, parachuted, military patrols in the forest, worked on my car and married 4 times wearing it. It's difficult to stay married very long when a soldier.
5 watches is a number that I’ve come to realise is a perfect collection. For me it’s 3 Grand Seiko, an IWC mark xx and a Tudor bb58. Can have a bonus no 6 beater :)
I have the first 4 categories covered multiple times, but the last category is covered in the literal sense: a true memory watch. I bought my Seiko UC-2000 (with UC-2200 controller) back in late '84 and still gets occasional wrist time. Fond memories of playing with that indeed!
Jody! It is so awesome to see my old G-SHOCK featured in your video! Great News! It Lives, I fiddled with it a little more on Christmas Day and got it back to life.
I’m watching this guys video for the first time. I enjoy his explanations and picks. I’ve been a watch guy since I was a watch kid who needed a Timex to make it to school on time. My watches have gone up in style and cost over 40 years. Let me cut to the chase, anyone that wears a timepiece that costs over $100 is a watch enthusiast. This of course does not include an iWatch. Even people who wear $100 watches are harassed by others who say their $20 watch tells the time as good as yours. The next step is owning an automatic bc you are aware of the craftsman it took to engineer and build one. Any $250 watches puts you in the game. That’s what this Poster is preaching. You start with just a watch. My only caveat, please wear it.
I think I tick every box! 1. Origin, 2. Ascent, 3. Citizen ecodrive (Red Arrows), 4. Casioak and 5. My late sons Adidas Watch we bought him for his 21st ❤
I'm pretty happy with my curated collection. Apart from the multitudes of Chinese watches I've blown money on, my serious collection is taking shape at the moment. I have Seiko SPB439 that doubles (triples) as diver, sporty/casual, and GMT; Hamilton Ventura mechanical on leather for office/situations where the seiko won't do; and an all 18k Eterna-Matic integrated bracelet from the 70s that I inherited, for special occasions. Only thing I think I'm missing is a "beach beater" kind of thing for summer holidays. I have a Steeldive Willard that I modded with a proper dial that kind of fits the bill, but I'd like something genuine. I'm considering one of those orange Swatch Fifty Fathoms.... Also, Ashford have great deals on Hamilton and Mido mechanical chronos at the moment. A decent chunck of change still, but would be a nice upgrade from the 1963...
My memory watch is my G-Shock 6900! Had a Forester that broke during a training session and needed a watch asap! Bought this watch at Walmart and left for deployment the following week. Never let me down and it’s still ticking. Always smile when I come across it while picking out a watch from my case.
I really hope for Alarm watches to make a comeback. Especially Mechanicals. Nothing like a tactile and sonic buzz to remind yourself of the time. I wish they were more abundant.
Great video! I fully agree. A lot of other videos of this style say 'GMT' (worst offender), even 'Moonohase' and 'Perpetual calendar', but these complications don't interest me at all and I don't need them ever.
A couple more categories: A travel watch, GMT or similar. I also think you should have at least one watch which was bought new by someone else, you are not the first owner, but the current one on a classic watches journey. Preferably owned by another family member.
I've got two memory watches, and both are from Timex, so they are the least expensive watches I own. The first is a quartz Expedition with Indiglo I bought when visiting my mother over 20 years ago. She worked at a retail store that carried low-cost watches, so she could use her employee discount to save me money. I've had to change out the battery and upgrade the brown leather strap several times, with the most recent strap acquired on a trip to Florence, Italy. Like me, the watch shows its age and is most often matched with a favorite vintage brown leather jacket. It is an inexpensive field watch that has proven that it can takes a licking and keeps on ticking! The other is the Marlin hand-wound mechanical reissue that was released in 2017. It is a copy of my first watch, which my grandfather gifted me around 1970. It wasn't expensive, but it serves as my least functional, most dressy alternative, so it only comes out for special occasions. Every time I wind and set it I think of my Grandad, who passed in 2001.
From the ones in my collection: Diver: Citizen Promaster Diver Dress: Orient Bambino ver. 2, small seconds Chronograph: Seiko Speedtimer Beater: Casioak Memory: Momentum Atlas Blue Sapphire Special Edition --also: GADA: Casio Oceanus T200 Travel: if I'm going somewhere relatively safe, Casio lineage liw m700d 1ajf, Waveceptor wvq-m410, or Citizen Nighthawk (original version). If I want to fly under the radar, so to speak, then Citizen BM8180 or Casio MRW-200.
Hey Jodie! …my collection: 1. Diver watch the omega SMP 300 2054.50 2. A GADA omega Railmaster 3. Chronograph a Longines spirit pioneer edition 4. A beater watch a Casio g shock BB king 5. Memory watch my first enter watch the 2009 longines hydroconquest/ my Hamilton belowzero anniversary gift Others in the collection: 7. GMT leather strap Oris big crown pilot 8. Swiss Army sport chronograph (monochrome) Cheers from Colombia!
For the dive watch category, not all of them have a unidirectional external bezel. You could also go for something like a Longines Legend diver. Super compressor dive watch that looks unique to all other dive watches out there
I have a catagory I think of as a travel watch, which is useful for those who travel internationally for work like I do. Something like a beater for theft concerns, something like a gada for versatility, and something with a GMT hand. My current travel watch is the Seiko SSK011, but there are many options from big brands, and now the micros, thanks to the new-ish gmt calibers.
I'd replace the memory watch (cause one of these would already/should be a memory watch already) with a Colourful watch. I didn't realise I needed a colourful watch until I had one. Really lifts me up.
Excellent as usual Jody! I think my 8 watch collection ticked everything on your list! The memory watch was my fathers, that he got from his father! A circa 1949 IWC. Going to my son someday... Now we just need an Erebus with a Seiko VH31 sweep quartz movement. Please!
I think you should add a sixth category: A fun watch! In this category I put my Radcliffe Le Dome. It’s different, it’s quirky and it’s a conversation starter. But above all, it’s a fun watch! 😉
One of my chrono's is in fact my memory watch and a diver. My wife got me an Omega Seamaster Chrono America's cup special edition for our anniversary 20+ years ago. You need to add field watch as #6 like my Hamilton Khaki King.
I got one of the rainbow brick dialed Metal Bezel GA2100 for christmas. It's actually so beautiful. It somehow plays with light better than most of my mechanicals.
I use my f91w for surfing. In the manual it says that it shouldnt be used while washing your car or submerged. Im usually in some pretty big conditions. Never had a problem. I hear if you fill them with oil they can go 1000s of meters deep :D
Just got into watches with my first for my 40th. Also just received my 6 watch starter box. Time to fill'er up. Got a PRX quartz with green dial for my first.
Wouldnt say essential but if you do travel/ have friends/ watch overseas events & GMT is also good to have?..Funny about the chronograph- I used to be active in coaching a sport so really did find timing function (& visible analogue hand) often useful...but yes now I buy them cause they look cool 😊. G-shock almost is a separate category? I never ever bought when younger cause felt like it advertised you were poor😮. Gotten over that shallowness (& now have money I bank) so like how g-shocks especially are democratised..also love how you can mod them cheaply to make them you own
Good plan. My diver is a Tissot Seastar1000. Grey dial and bezel. A nearly perfect Swiss auto 300m diver. Under $1000 A blue Casio Duro with a blue silicone strap as backup . Then my Movado museum 40mm with a steel mesh strap. Elegant and flashy for under .$500. Then my Tissot quartz Chrono. Under $400. My beater watch(es) are g shocks and others. Peace 👍✌️Oh yeah, my gf/ now wife got me an MK fashion piece 😁
I'd replace "chronograph" category with a broader "fun watch". It can be a chronograph, it can be a Godzilla watch, it can be a moonphase. In general, it's watch with less utility, but more art to enjoy, be it a cheap novelty piece or an ultra-expensive complicated watch. Not you daily, but one to brighten your mood.
If 5 is the number, I would say - 1, A decent ‘daily’ in your preferred style. 2, A tough watch for when necessary ( G Shock esqué). 3, A diver 4, A dress(ier) unit - slimmer and on a strap. 5, A fun watch for that something a little bit different. 😊
My collection: DIVE - Seiko 5 with GMT complication (jubilee bracelet) DRESS - Seiko Presage with GMT Complication (leather strap) CHRONO - Still need to procure one! BEATER - Nixon Regulus (rubber strap) MEMORY - My dad's old Guess watch. Doesn't work but I don't have him around anymore so I keep it in my watch box.
History & heritage is my main focus when collecting watches. I'm in the affordable end of the hobby and I couldn't be happier. Tissot, Seiko, Casio, Orient, Timex, Laco, Mondaine, Yema, Wenger etc. And let's be realistic, us watch collectors just keep going. We have more watches than hours in the day.
My target Lineup: Dress: Longines Sector Dial ✅ Dive: Grand Seiko SBGN021 (technically not a Dive, but with 200m WR) Chrono: Hanhart 417 ES reverse panda (39mm) Double Beater: Any Casio with 100m WR ✅ + Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical ✅ With this compact collection I have: Dress, Dive, Chrono, Beater, GMT, Quartz, Manual winding, Automatic winding, NATO strap, Leather strap, Steel Bracelet, Rubber strap, digital and analog 😂🤣
Since I'm rarely very active, my categories are a G-Shock for anything practical, watches that look cool, and then watches with emotional significance. I haven't gotten around to any chronographs yet, most of them seem like a big hassle unless I get a solar one, but they do look really cool lol. Would you consider making a solar chronograph that looks more unique than the Speedtimer?
I think you can add a category of “Conversational Watch”, something that gets the attention of others but not in the class of luxury like PP, JLC, Omega or Rolex.
Great video Jodie. The only thing I’d say is the chronograph slot could be redesignated as the “complication” watch. Maybe that’s a chrono, maybe that’s a GMT, or something else. Just a tribute to the craft. Beyond that, no notes as they say 😂.
My daily, GADA/Beater right now is a Pagani Design AirKing V2 homage. Loving it, NH35 +10SPD, it’s not perfect but really good for $60. Going to regulate it, file down some sharp points on the clasp, eventually I’ll have a legit 16’ Rolex AirKing on my wrist, but this is great for now. 👌🏼
My categories are a little different. Honestly the idea of a Beater Watch I think may be passe, and yes Dive Watches are super versatile and useable but not a mandatory category Grab and Go Modern Tool Watch Strict Dress Retro Slash Vintage Fun Watch ✌🏼🇺🇸
I am rapidly moving towards 'one watch collection' and funny enough - the candidate is Erebus Ascent :) but I guess I'll need to buy another one for 'dressier occasions' as my everyday watch will (and does) collect scuffs and scratches.
Thank you Jody for this great recommendation. I definitely agree with what you shared here. This is more likely "5 watch categories / types" than "5 watches every collector needs". With these 5 watch categories, a watch collector could have more than a dozen watches. I myself definitely have more than a "couple dozen watches" in these 5 watch categories. It is extremely difficult to just settle on 5 watches especially watching your channel. Now, I think there is the 6th category which I don't have in my collection and I don't see myself to have in any time soon. That is a SMART watch. Smart watches have been around for quite a while now but I still refuse to buy one due to their short life battery. The batter technology has been getting better over the last couple years but I still haven't got over myself of the idea to charge a smart watch! Happy New Year Jody!
Before I clicked the video I thought you were gonna name some legendary models. I was not ready for a philosophical discusion lol. Personally I'd add Casio World Timer to the list. Idk if you'd add it to the beater category but being able to look up up to 5 time zones at the click of a button, not to mention the small world map on the dial. Every person should have one of those.
Great video as always jody. With so many affordable only watches in my collection i hit all categories 😂. I find the gada/dress hardest to do with one watch - currently citizen tsyuosa plus a zodiac Olympus.
#4……basically, a G-Shock. Righteous! Jody, I ordered a new beater. A Baltany Explorer. I could not resist…I’ll never make myself pay $7k for the real deal…Happy New Year amigo…
My gateway to watches was my lifelong hobby as a recreational diver, so I always wanted a collection of classic divers. I’ve been on this journey for 12 years now, working hard and trading up where I can. I think I’m almost there now. I have maybe 20 pieces in my collection. If I had to choose 5, I’d go for: 1. Rolex Submariner 114060 (engagement present) 2. Blancpain FF No Radiations 3. Omega Seamaster SMP300 (non-wave dial) 4. Tudor BB58 5. Doxa Sub 1200T Professional Probably quite predictable! I’ve encountered some great watches along the way. 🤿🌊
So I agree with the first two. You need a diver and you also need a dress. Watch go anywhere. Do anything watch. I also agree you need a beater. And some type of memory or sentimental watch is also fine. Also, I agree about the chronograph. But honestly I don't think you can stop at 5. :00, here are the additional watches. I think you need to complete a well-rounded collection. 6. A panda or reverse Panda. Any panda that you like will do. 7. A field watch. 8. A pilot watch. 9.An ABC watch. 10. Your grail watch.(Whatever that is for you) 11. Everyone probably needs a fun watch too. Maybe something with wild colors or super different, like a skeleton watch or Spinnaker's 50 phantoms etc. Note: I think it's important you need to cover the types of movements and technology within your collection or in addition to the top nine that I just mentioned. This means you need a solar watch an automatic, maybe a Mecca, quartz, mechanical, you probably need a smartwatch as well and I highly recommend an atomic watch. Also don't forget the top three or four colorways. This might be red. Dial blue. Dial green, dial, black dial, white, dial whichever your top two or three or four are. And don't forget many of these can be in combination. For instance, my ABC watch is also solar and atomic and digital and will eventually become my beater. For now it is also my black watch. Have fun collecting.
Oh yes and I forgot the GMT watch. You got to have one of those. But wait you don't travel you say.... Who cares? That's not the point. It's for the collection.
I guess the closest thing I have to beater is my Watchdives Willard Homage. It’s my cheapest watch but still one of my favorites. Great list as usual Sir.
@@JustOneMoreWatch it's missing some wish list items - A.Lange & Söhne 1815 (dress watch) - Cartier Santos ADLC (dress watch) - Rolex Submariner no-date - Gshock MRG-B2100B-1ADR - Zenith Original Triple Calendar So, I'm still working on it :)
I own more than 5 but here's my 5 that fit these categories: Dive - Invicta Pro Diver GADA - Addiesdive tictac copy Chrono - Swiss Air Force Pilot chrono Beater - stainless casio (can't remember model #) Memory - grandfather's retirement Seiko quartz tank
1 Diver-check 2 GADA/dress-check 3 Chronograph-check 4 Beater-check 5 Memory-check 6 Field-check outdoors, camping I guess the last one could be a beater as well. Nice one. I loved this video. the bank account does not, lol Cheers
Im fine with a diver looking watch, since I dive with a frogman anyways. My beater is an F 105w, and several field watches with several straps to choose are my GADA / dress watches combos. But one more category for any collectors should be just Casio watches.
This man has seriously impacted my finances

Mine are: 1) Seiko SKX013 2) 37mm Citizen Quartz with integrated bracelet 3) Rotary Avenger 4) G-Shock 5600 on combi bracelet 5) Certina 35mm, which belonged to my grandfather
And… you should at some point give a watch to someone as a gift
From the ones in my collection:
Diver: Citizen Promaster Diver
Dress: Orient Bambino ver. 2, small seconds
Chronograph: Seiko Speedtimer
Beater: Casioak
Memory: Momentum Atlas Blue Sapphire Special Edition
--also:
GADA: Casio Oceanus T200
Travel: if I'm going somewhere relatively safe, Casio lineage liw m700d 1ajf, Waveceptor wvq-m410, or Citizen Nighthawk (original version). If I want to fly under the radar, so to speak, then Citizen BM8180 or Casio MRW-200.
The category I'll pass on is chronograph. The dial is just too busy for my taste.
Hey Jodie! …my collection:
1. Diver watch the omega SMP 300 2054.50
2. A GADA omega Railmaster
3. Chronograph a Longines spirit pioneer edition
4. A beater watch a Casio g shock BB king
5. Memory watch my first enter watch the 2009 longines hydroconquest/ my Hamilton belowzero anniversary gift
Others in the collection:
7. GMT leather strap Oris big crown pilot
8. Swiss Army sport chronograph (monochrome)
Cheers from Colombia!
For the dive watch category, not all of them have a unidirectional external bezel. You could also go for something like a Longines Legend diver. Super compressor dive watch that looks unique to all other dive watches out there
Any diver is also a beater imho
Hard agree. I just bought my grail diver a few months back and it already has many scratches. Don't care.
Grand Seiko diver the Lake Suwa one but with the better hour hand. Legit GADA one and done watch.
@@johnbrylledomingo6377 Yup. I got the 200 meter spring drive. The rest of my collection just sits around now.
Happy New Year to you and your family! Always a well researched and presented video. Like the Memory Watch category.
Pretty much spot on their Jody. Have a great New Year 🎉
Love the concept of the memory watch. (Casio AMW320C-9EV, by my side since high school).
Seeing the Seagull 1963 and the Brew Metric Retro presented here is special.. because I own both 😊
Excellent as usual Jody!
Finally, thanks 😂 i was confused what should my collection look like and had a long list.
I use my f91w for surfing. In the manual it says that it shouldnt be used while washing your car or submerged. Im usually in some pretty big conditions. Never had a problem. I hear if you fill them with oil they can go 1000s of meters deep :D
That test has been proven on UA-cam
Just got into watches with my first for my 40th.
Also just received my 6 watch starter box. Time to fill'er up.
Got a PRX quartz with green dial for my first.
Nice start.
Nice one Jody 👍 I’ve got numerous categories filled sans ‘chronograph’ which I’ve been whittling down for selection 🍻 Happy New Year 🎉
Wouldnt say essential but if you do travel/ have friends/ watch overseas events & GMT is also good to have?..Funny about the chronograph- I used to be active in coaching a sport so really did find timing function (& visible analogue hand) often useful...but yes now I buy them cause they look cool 😊.
If 5 is the number, I would say -
1, A decent ‘daily’ in your preferred style.
2, A tough watch for when necessary ( G Shock esqué).
3, A diver
4, A dress(ier) unit - slimmer and on a strap.
5, A fun watch for that something a little bit different.
😊
My collection:
DIVE - Seiko 5 with GMT complication (jubilee bracelet)
DRESS - Seiko Presage with GMT Complication (leather strap)
CHRONO - Still need to procure one!
BEATER - Nixon Regulus (rubber strap)
MEMORY - My dad's old Guess watch.
Thanks Jodie, excellent selection of watch classes! Greetings from Switzerland
My target Lineup:
Dress: Longines Sector Dial ✅
Dive: Grand Seiko SBGN021 (technically not a Dive, but with 200m WR)
Chrono: Hanhart 417 ES reverse panda (39mm)
Double Beater: Any Casio with 100m WR ✅ + Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical ✅
With this compact collection I have:
Dress, Dive, Chrono, Beater, GMT, Quartz, Manual winding, Automatic winding, NATO strap, Leather strap, Steel Bracelet, Rubber strap, digital and analog 😂🤣
Yes! The oddity/left fileder. Maybe in a collection of 10?
Honestly the idea of a Beater Watch I think may be passe, and yes Dive Watches are super versatile and useable but not a mandatory category
Grab and Go
Modern Tool Watch
Strict Dress
Retro Slash Vintage
Fun Watch
✌🏼🇺🇸
Oddly enough I agree with everything you said (except I don’t own a G-Shock and I’m not going to).
I am rapidly moving towards 'one watch collection' and funny enough - the candidate is Erebus Ascent :) but I guess I'll need to buy another one for 'dressier occasions' as my everyday watch will (and does) collect scuffs and scratches.
Good suggestions! Happy New Year!
I'm happy with my 3 watch collection: a GADA Seiko 5, a diver / travel Orient Kamasu, and a dress gold-case Tissot
My list of five: chronograph diver, dressy chronograph, mechanical chronograph, quartz chronograph, & vintage memory chronograph. :)
Hey Jodi what brand is the watch at 5:43. Safe Christmas.
Looked like the Stratton Speziale but zoomed in you are right I don't know that brand either.
Great list, HAPPY NEW YEAR Jodi
One “category” I can’t do without is a night time or winter watch. Needs to be supremely legible with either excellent lume or, even better, Tritium.
Great video, Jodie:
1) Beater with chrono functionality (less than one day of net salary)
2) Everyday
3) Field/Pilot
4) Dress
5) Diver
I think every collection needs a quartz watch (besides the beater). Not always do you want to wind something and set the date, set and forget😎
Any recommendation for a reasonably priced bronze watch?
I have a cheap chronograph and it keeps great time. But the markings and hand sweep is something else 🤪
Hope you had a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, to you, your subscribers and Mrs Jodie and the rest of the family
Great video as always jody. With so many affordable only watches in my collection i hit all categories 😂. I find the gada/dress hardest to do with one watch - currently citizen tsyuosa plus a zodiac Olympus.
Ive been diving with my F91w 😂
Ha! I've seen those videos! Ridiculous watches, love them.
I would posit that a field/flieger ought to occupy a slot, though these might fit into the GADA category. But, ya know, your mileage may vary.
#4……basically, a G-Shock. Righteous!
Jody, I ordered a new beater. A Baltany Explorer. I could not resist…I’ll never make myself pay $7k for the real deal…Happy New Year amigo…
“Divers” - Diver
Dressy - Diver
Chrono - Diver
Beater - Diver
Memory - Diver
One of your best round-up videos, Jodi!
My gateway to watches was my lifelong hobby as a recreational diver, so I always wanted a collection of classic divers. I’ve been on this journey for 12 years now, working hard and trading up where I can. I think I’m almost there now. I have maybe 20 pieces in my collection. If I had to choose 5, I’d go for:
1. Rolex Submariner 114060 (engagement present)
2. Blancpain FF No Radiations
3. Omega Seamaster SMP300 (non-wave dial)
4. Tudor BB58
5. Doxa Sub 1200T Professional
Probably quite predictable!
10. Your grail watch.(Whatever that is for you)
I would add a GMT watch to the collection. They have recently become my fave complication and I enjoy them alot.
I agree, but the problem is when you have more than one of each one 😅
I'm up to over 70.
I see no problem here. 😊
I guess the closest thing I have to beater is my Watchdives Willard Homage. It’s my cheapest watch but still one of my favorites. Great list as usual Sir.
Totaly agree. Excellent video for watch collectors
My keeper is my Breitling Navitimer Chronograph. Black face with silver indices on a stainless steel bracelet. Love it 😊
Great list, but you should add field watches. List of 6 😊
You nailed it, Jody! 👍
Mine : 😂
Diver : Omega Seamaster 300
GMT : Rolex GMT Master 2 "Rootbeer"
Chronograph : Grand Seiko Tentagraph 5Hz
Party : G-Shock MRG-B5000B-1DR "1983 Square"
Complication : Omega Speedmaster Moonphase
Field : Hanhart Pioneer 417ES "Steve McQueen"
Dress : Grand Seiko Spring Drive
Beater : G-Shock GA-B2100
What an epic collection 👌
@@JustOneMoreWatch it's missing some wish list items
- A.Lange & Söhne 1815 (dress watch)
- Cartier Santos ADLC (dress watch)
- Rolex Submariner no-date
- Gshock MRG-B2100B-1ADR
- Zenith Original Triple Calendar
So, I'm still working on it :)
I own more than 5 but here's my 5 that fit these categories:
Dive - Invicta Pro Diver
GADA - Addiesdive tictac copy
Chrono - Swiss Air Force Pilot chrono
Beater - stainless casio (can't remember model #)
Memory - grandfather's retirement Seiko quartz tank
I'm guessing Erebus watches will check all these boxes soon right?
See i always thought that my Champagne dial Hamilton Khaki King could always double as a dress watch. Glad to know Jody agrees.
1 Diver-check
2 GADA/dress-check
3 Chronograph-check
4 Beater-check
5 Memory-check
6 Field-check outdoors, camping
I guess the last one could be a beater as well. Nice one. I loved this video. the bank account does not, lol
Cheers
Im fine with a diver looking watch, since I dive with a frogman anyways. My beater is an F 105w, and several field watches with several straps to choose are my GADA / dress watches combos. But one more category for any collectors should be just Casio watches.
Just got my first diver, loving it
What about Fliegers and Field watches? They are also well known and collected
