It was only a power station there when I was a child in the late 1960's !

This is a very long video in fact the longest that i ever watched in yt. but i finish it until the end.its nostalgic for me.because ived been on this part of hk 24yrs ago.no MRT yet at that time and no elevator /lift in going to aplie chao multipurpose public building fr.south horizon.i used to walk on a small path there.South horizon.this is the residential towers/area in hk that i like most( although it is quite old now.)because of the will manicured garden(lots of small trees) downstairs and wide space plus it surrounded by the sea.i never been to lee tung estate part of apli chau but i remember ived been to the industrial part of apli chau.

Thank you for your detailed and heartfelt comment. I'm glad the video brought back nostalgic memories for you. It’s amazing how much has changed over the years in Hong Kong. South Horizons truly has a unique charm with its well-manicured gardens and sea views, even though it’s considered older now. I hope you get a chance to visit again and see the changes, including Lee Tung Estate.
If there are any specific places or topics you'd like to see in future videos, please feel free to let me know. Your feedback is invaluable. Thank you for watching until the end and sharing your experiences!🙏😊

Thank you for sharing those wonderful memories! It's great to hear that my videos bring back such vivid recollections of your time in South Horizons. Indeed, there are many beautiful places around, like Lamma Island, Aberdeen, and Ocean Park. The dam near Aberdeen and the picnic area sound lovely too. Riding a sampan to dine at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant must have been quite an experience.
Sadly, the Jumbo Floating Restaurant has been closed and moved from its original location. (On 14 June 2022, the Jumbo Floating Restaurant was towed out of Hong Kong to Cambodia to await a new operator. While transiting in the South China Sea, it experienced bad weather and capsized near the Paracel Islands on 19 June 2022. Its operator has denied describing it as sunk.)
Thank you again for watching and sharing your memories! If you have any other suggestions or places you'd like to see, feel free to let me know.
