Hi Guys, i think i have an interesting question :::
When using Freight Forwarders - they ALL ask for upfront payment for their shipping services !
However, it appears that when using AGL - the shipping payment is ONLY deducted once the goods are received into either their 'upstream' warehouses and/or fullfilment centers.
This is fantastic for cash-flow !
Question ::: Is the above TRUE of FALSE ? i.e. do you guys pay your AGL bill after it is received into their respective warehsoues ?

- Is there a way to, on my first product, set up the shipment plan (using AGL) from the supplier to both the fulfillment center and AWD or would they have to be two separate shipment plans?

Great video, from what you have researched is the AWD storage costs cheaper than other 3PL? I also got hit really hard with storage fees on October.
That could depend on the location, but according to some sellers, generally speaking, Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) is cheaper than most 3PL services.

@@junglescout Thank you for your reply, however the blog only states how to send to FBA - i.e. through send / replenish inventory. I can't use this as I have hit my max storage, hence sending to AWD first. I want to send LCL to AWD using AGL which I can't seem to work out how to do.

Hi, Thank you for the video. Do you know if AGL is available at any city in China? I went to AGL as a guest and tried to get shipping estimate before signing up for AGL. It looks like cities were limited there so my supplier's city did not come up. If I sign up for AGL, would it be different? Secondly, I have not changed my status from individual to professional yet because I don't have the product yet and didn't want to get $39.99 charged yet. So, AGL is for people who are signed up for professional/ FBA setting?

If i am doing fba, how can i store my products to 3pl outside of amazon and still have my prime badge? Also amazon wont activate my listing unless they have recieved my shipment for fba ..could tou explaine
Some 3PL companies also offer storage. This ensures that you wouldn't go out of stock because it'll be easier to send inventory from the 3PL storage to the Amazon warehouse.

does AGL pick up your units directly from your supplier? Or does your supplier always have to send it to the port where AGL will pick it up?
Yes, Amazon offers a service to pick up cargo from your or your supplier's location at the origin.
Hello and question... I'm planning buy some inventory from Alibaba. and use AGL ..but what's an import of record and how can I get one? ...also can i send my inventory directly to AWD or first must go to FBA and then choose AWD ? ..thanks so much...
The IOR is the business creating and importing the shipment-you, or at least your Amazon business. You will need to enter your business entity details including your EIN or CAIN (outside the US). As for AWD service, you may check out Amazon's guide here supplychain.amazon.com/

If you use a 3PL provider do they also provide shipping if someone buys my product? Or how does that work?
You can send some (above limit) of your inventory to a 3PL and transfer them to Amazon FBA whenever you have available space in your FBA storage
In the section after EXW, Amazon picks up and loads, can you exmplain further about other options, In the UK LTL option only has Amazon Picks up and supplier loads, 2 Supplier drops off at amazon container freight station. I choose option 2(supplier drops off at an amazon container freight station) I also optioned in for Palletization. So I am trying to send boxes and its asking me to print the pallet labels. If I option for palletization and sending the boxes only, why I print the pallet labels, and its asking me to label it myself. does this mean I need to palletise it myself? its very confusing and I cant find anymore details?

As a seller outside of US, Is it compulsory to have a EIN number to get products into the US?

You would create it the same way as every other shipping plan in Seller Central and use your freight forwarder's or supplier's address as "ship from"
Isn't it possible that you're leading Amazon straight to where you are manufacturing your product, and they could quickly turn around and build a listing using your same supplier and oust you out?
No, Amazon doesn't do that 😊
So 1.66 a unit so 1.66x500 that's how much you'd pay as an example?
1.66 per unit as an example if your freight forwarder gave you a quote for shipping 1500 units for $2500. 500 units may have a different total quote.

When I signed up for amazon global logistics they requested an EIN Number from me.
I currently have an EIN Number from my other amazon account.
Can I still use the same EIN number from my other amazon account and use it for another amazon account?
When signing up for AGL.
You will need to use your existing business EIN when signing up with AGL. Did you already sign up with AGL on your other account?

I’m trying to sign up for AGL with my new amazon account but don’t have an EIN set up for it.
I only have an EIN for my other amazon account. I never signed up for AGL for my second account.
In that case, it would be best to check with the seller team if you can use the same EIN, though you might need to use a new one
