The device does not vibrate when receiving texts or phone calls, thought the notifications are both set to on. Is there a way this can be activated or is the item faulty?

Hi, this is how I got into making videos for UA-cam I was interested in Unboxing videos, I hope you're enjoying your Fitbit.
Mine won't connect either. I've put it back in the charger and pressed the button to reset it, but it's still not working. It finds the tracker, then vibrates when I double tap, but doesn't connect. I had it from a friend and it worked for her, so I know it's not faulty. Doing my head in!

My Fitbit flex 2 gets stuck at the searching part it won’t connect. I’ve tried everything turning Bluetooth on and off, un installing the fit bit app and installing it again resetting my Fitbit and everything in between please help

what does a flashing blue light indicate? when I double-tap nothing happens
Blue light with one white dot means you have a text message. The blue light with four white dots means you have a incoming phone call from your phone.
Got a Flex 2, too, but I' am not able to connect it with my Android device.. did the double tap and then nothing happens... Many people got the same problem. Fitbit doesnt know what to do.. what a shame. U got help
Hi, yes I do need to charge for a long time then when asks you to double tap do this while in the charge it worked for me and then inserted back into the band and worked I hope you get it sorted.
@Coper Cop Did you get your flex 2 connected to your Android device? I am looking to buy a flex 2 (I've got a Samsung galaxy/android) but have read heaps of bad reviews and people having syncing/ connectivity issues
~ apparently the Jan 29 update is when the issues began
Just wondering what to do, as I really want the fitbit, but not if it's not worth it

jazze's journal yeah, Got it working. Just switched WiFi off and used my mobile internet. Got it connected and since then never had problems again.confusing.

Since when does 77 steps equal 875 calories burnt? So far....this tracker has been a terrible waste of my time. Think I'm going to get an analog pedometer. This Fitbit Flex 2....is for the birds. Waste of a Saturday...for sure.

What happens if you purchased one brand new and it won't charge?
Hi, this is annoying, I know the first charge takes a long time, however give it around 12hrs to charge, if this doesn't work I would contact FitBit and ask about a replacement. I hope you have a nice weekend ahead.

Do I need to check my steps on my phone or can I just check it on the band?
That was very helpful. I have the original fit bit.....held together with tape......still works and the Fit bit charge 2. I am so sick of trying to look at the time on the charge 2 (qnd not being able to see it because I am in bright sunlight), that I thought I have to go back to wearing a proper watch. I have loads of watches.....all more attractive than the Fit bit (even with the decorative straps I have bought on line) and so I managed to buy this Fitbit Flex on Ebay. So far, following your video it seems fine....so I can finally dispense with the hideous charge 2! Thank you

I've watched the whole video. I have downloaded the App from Windows store onto the laptop.
The video then shows a progression of screens, with Next to move on, on a phone. I have nothing like that on the laptop screen.
He talks about tapping it to get a vibration: nothing like that with me.
I have logged in to Fitbit through the App and have a Dashboard saying "The Tab bar is the new way to move around the app." On this I can move to "Dashboard", "Challenges", "Guidance", "Community", and "Notifications".
Under "Guidance" I find various fitness routines to choose from: nothing to say how to show results etc, or what to do with the fitbit. (I have been wearing it continuously since yesterday.) "Notifications" shows my son's request to be a Friend. I want to actually do something with the Fitbit first.)
How do I get to see how many steps I have done, etc? Why is there not an Instruction book with the machine?
BTW, it says it has "Call and text notifications with LED lights and vibrations". What will it call? Phone messages? Where is the loudspeaker?
And there seem to be no activity in the lights -- just an occasional blue pulse.
There is also a Sleep tracking and Silent Alarm". Really? How does that work? How do we set the alarm time?
Basically, I have charged the insert, fixed it to my wrist, and nothing happens.
Any helpful suggestions?

the watch will only alert you to an incoming call or text. you cannot reply to texts or answer calls with the watch. all silent alarms and sleep tracking are set within the fitbit app itself.
Does anyone still own this, nowadays? I had given up on it, since I had purchased it, from years ago. I had no cell phone, at the time. I now, have a galaxy, smart phone. Track phone, really, by Samsung. I am trying it, once again, with my sons help. Thank You, for this video.
Hi, thank you for your comment, I agree a lot of people use their smartphone and smartwatches now but Fitbit are still good at what they do.

Fitbit "money Sucker" In market we have lots of other brand which is better option with better features at very very cheap price..

i charge my fitbit flex 2 but it has only one blinking light in my watch.is ok or it has a problem?
Hi, thanks for your comment is it it's the first charge like new device then will take a very long time but in general, should charge very quickly. If under 12 months old can contact Fitbit and they should replace it for you.

Hi, first sorry to hear this I suggest plugging it back into the charger and reset it with a pinhole on the back of the charger then let it charge up in case battery is totally flat, also delete the app and try again from fresh, I hope this works for you.
Is the flex 2 still worth buying in 2019 ? Or has it become "outdated" in terms of performance.

How do u know when its charged all the way
Hi, when its fully charged all four lights will go up and then see a green light or when no lights are showing this means its charged too, can also take out and replace back into the charger and see the white lights go to the green.
Will this track my steps? That's all I want.

Hi, thank you for your comment I recommend to place the tracker in the charging dock and reset it there should be a little button you need to press and hold and then check to see if this has fixed the issue you are having right now.
Can it tell the time?if not what is the point of a fitness watch
Hi, sadly it does not tell the time as there is no display but dose track your steps and fitness activities.
when it asks me to tap the tracker and I do it it wont work ! And the tracker does vibrate, please help
Hi, thank you for your comment if it still isn't working you may need to reset it place into the charger and there is either a pinhole or a button on the charger to reset the tracker connect through the app again and should be working fine. Also if under 12 months old you have the right to return the item as it is faulty.
Hello, my Fitbit Flex 2 is acting up, all 4 white lights are flashing also the pink light is flashing too while its plugged up, I plugged it up to charge...
For some odd reason my fitbit still won't connect, could you tell me why?
Hi, sorry to hear this the best thing is to connect back into the charger and reset there is a tiny pin hole on the rear while connected to power place pin in there for 10 seconds and see it flash and then try and reset up via the app and hope this fixes the issue. Happy New Year.

Hi, sorry to hear this, you may need to reset and try again there is a tiny hole when using a pin push and hold and it will reset and try again.

Hi, make sure to charge your device, one think to note because how long this model has now been out the battery might need replacing, you could contact Fitbit but they will suggest buying a new model.

Hi, thanks for your comment I believe it might of had an update during its charging make sure to bring your linked device close to your Fitbit and this may resolve the issue. if not you may need to reset it sorry to say.

Hello, thank you for your comment I suggest using a pin and under the charger is a little whole that needs the pin pressed in for 10 seconds this should resolve the issue and should work, also bare in mind they take a long to time to start charging for the first time.
