Hi this is Andrea Marie (Lindo) Palmer. I am a Respiratory Therapist, I am not licensed but have the degree. I having been practicing but I love how you explain about the meds. Thank you it is a refresher & reminder for me😃🤚
Thank you so much for this! Im on summer break for three months until my third semester and I want to stay sharp in the meantime, this was very helpful
Great video currently a pharmacy tech and am seriously considering RT after I have a few years experience as a pharmacy tech and this helped to solidify some of the meds I'm already dispensing.
@@DoldierMediahey mate, just a quick update, I got through clinicals, a lot of life happened in between, graduated, passed my TMC and CSE and now looking for work. I’m going to use this comment thread as a time capsule now.
That's a gray area, some state codes allow us to start an IV and push cardiopulmonary drugs (ALS), in reality a RN will do that. I probably don't want that extra work regardless.

Thank you! Let me know if there’s any other videos you’d want me to make. I work with a pharmacist/rt. They do both jobs and say they like it.
Lol commented from my other account haha
Thank you! Your videos are helpful as always!
Thanks for this. About to start clinicals and wanted to freshen up a bit
Good luck! Check out the video i have on a day in the life of an RT to get the basics of what you’ll do during the day.

Which of these are given by the RT vs. the RN? The hypertonic saline, for example. Are RTs allowed to hang those?
