    Looks good.
    Great tips on the install.
I recently did a tile job with multiple transition strips.
The ones from the Big Box stores that are made out of compressed paper are junk.
One day after final install the son of the homeowner snapped one off hitting it with his foot.
    Compressed paper is junk.
The homeowner went to a flooring store and bought solid wood transition strips.
He stained them to match and I went back to remove the paper ones and install the new ones.
I will not ever use the paper ones again.

I bought and had a carpenter install $1,200 worth of Staccato Ash Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Tile that I bought from Floor and Decor. It went down fairly easily, we noticed a stain and no one from Floor and Decor or Nucor would / could help us. I think this floor is too sensitive to stains and should not be used.

You make it look too easy ! The SLC spoiled you. I like the tips about how to do the tub to floor and matching up the butt end grain... I've typically gone random which as you note can result in dramatic color difference between two butt end joins. I bought one of the bullet shears for cutting laminate which works great on LVP.

For anyone without access to a table saw for rip cuts, a good OLFA knife will still work just make sure you are careful when snapping it off.
For SPC vinyl however, after installing it in a large room and into a long hallway requiring lots of notch cuts around doorways, I went through an excessive number of jigsaw blades, we tried every type of blade we could find at our local store and the SPC dulled them all almost instantly.
I just recently had to install SPC again and having recently purchased a new angle grinder and looking for an excuse to use it, I decided it was worth a shot; an angle grinder with a cutting disc is definitely how I plan to notch cut SPC in the future. Cuts through like butter, and the disc barely even looks used. (Just don't forget, never neglect safety whenever using an angle grinder)
Also if you can't find a close colour match for caulking, I have found translucent (not transparent) blends in really well in most cases.

My reason is because my ceramic tile is an ugly southwestern type, it hurts my feet walking on it, and it is literally impossible to clean!!! I hate it everyday with a passion because of how filthy it is. I know not all ceramic tile is as bad as the kind the builder of my house used, but it must’ve been the cheapest option like most of the materials on this house where they cut a lot of corners. Also, I plan to chalk paint all the ugly oak cabinets in a white or grey and that will not at all match the southwestern ceramic.

Thanks Bryan, realistically it’s a lot easier to make a video where you just roll tape and go through things, but like you say it gets pretty dang boring unless the person is great on camera at explaining things quickly. I’m pretty bad at it so I just do a bunch of takes and cut them all together without much fluff. Thanks for noticing!

You should definitely put caulking against the bathtub, but they DO make waterproof quarter round trim for this specific purpose. It’s cheap and I highly recommend it. You can even use color matched for your flooring trim quarter round that many floor manufacturers make for your flooring color. LL flooring has this for many of their flooring colors and the cost will be very minimal and make your flooring look much better. Besides you should still have a 1/4 inch gap here and doing it as it’s done in the video can cause buckling in the flooring if it expands as placing it that close to the tub and caulking it doesn’t allow for expansion.

When i had to cut the flooring around the toilet flange, i took a piece of cardboard and cut out a hole the size of the flange. I installed that piece of flooring, not quite locking it in, then aligned the cutout in the cardboard with the flange and marked where to cut the flooring. I was able to get a 1/16” gap around the flange quite quickly and easily with no measuring.
Edit: Great idea to seal the floor at the tub with caulking. I was going to use silicone to glue a plastic 1/4 round or base shoe on it but they’re pretty curvy and not easy to get on straight if you can’t nail it. Then there’s still the problem of having to seal it.

Did a brick pattern in a large family room, about 14x40', with 6' dark cherry colored boards and liked it a lot, but it really went with the rest of the room. Had chair rail and the boxy wainscoting. Just made sure the seams on every other row were exact center of the room all the way down.
