depends on the look you're after, I often shoot up to 1 second exposures if there are many moving elements in the frame. If it's just clouds it doesn't really matter
Don't put the Mic there Matt, It looks nerdy. Put it half way left or right of your collar or chest. And tiny black tape on text white logos or covering distracting lights on the mic.
Thumbs if you love a little lapse.
(can you believe this is the first ever proper video I've made about the basics of timelapse?)

Do you know of any Adobe-free workflow for Windows that allows you to find tune and polish the sequence as in LRTimelapse?
Yes: lrtimelapse haha
@@MatthewVandeputte hmm, but don't you need LR in the end to do the RAW development here? I thought it only manipulates LR recipes.
@@IvoPavlik latest version allows you to stay inside of LRT
@@MatthewVandeputte oh, that's huge. I need to check it out. Thanks!
Can I ask you, Matthew, what kind of CPU and GPU do you use for aditing timelapses and videos?
I have a ridiculous macbook pro now. M3 max full spec

Thanks Marty! Alive and thriving :)
