Chase Highlights | June 24, 2024 (Summerset, SD)

When this storm threatened huge hail for Rapid City, I managed to outrun it to the north of town! Unfortunately for the town of Summerset, baseball-sized hail fell from the storm before it put on an incredible mammatus display. All in all, this local chase (of less than 90 miles) had a lot to offer!

Saw there were a few tornadoes in Nebraska yesterday as well. There seems to be a lot of energy in the atmosphere this year!
