Washington State passed a Sex Education bill for our public schools!!! This will teach young students about consent, what is inappropriate/appropriate, how to reach out for help, what is considered sexual assault, and then your typical health and sex ed classes in high school/junior high!!! This is so important and I’m proud of my state!

Just to clarify for the Oregon 110 measure, it did NOT legalize all drugs. It decriminalized small amounts of controlled substances for no commercial use (not selling) and maxed the fine to $100 and relabeled it from Class A misdemeanor to a Class E violation. Then, boosting recovery programs. So, not all legal (with the exception of 109 psilocybin/mushrooms), just reclassified and hopefully we can lower incarceration rates and boost our rehab and recovery programs.

I'm looking at all of the bills that never got a vote in the Senate: The Equality Act, Universal Background Checks, DC Statehood. These last two senate races in Georgia could bring about monumental change for our country.
D.C. is already part of a state.

USPS falsely marked my absentee ballot “undeliverable” and didn’t inform me until a week before Election Day. I had to drop everything to drive back to my home state of Michigan to vote but it was so worth it!! Happy to see the state go back to blue.

As a person from Mississippi, we also overthrown a Jim Crow law that would not allow a people of color to hold the office of governor or any office which surprised me because so never knew or heard about that law. Besides all of that I am happy that my home state is making progress.

4:43 No, it’s stupid. Making the minimum wage higher, just raises inflation, which, in return, makes the workers poorer, wanting a higher minimum wage, and so the cycle continues until the currency is fucked.
I hope the nation can come together, and become much better to each other. People in my school all support Trump and it's hard for me to hear them say things like, "All lives matter", "abortion is murder", "being gay is wrong", "that's a sin".
