Stephen Robertson served as CEO of The Big Issue Foundation from 2007 to 2021. The Big Issue Foundation is an independent charity committed to the principle of providing a 'hand up, not a handout.' They firmly believe that earning an income is a crucial milestone in an individual's path toward stability and a brighter future.
The Big Issue was launched in 1991 in response to the growing number of rough sleepers on the streets of London.
