Because most injury claims include a claim for medical bills. If a claimant receives money for medical bills, the bills should be paid with that money (especially if there is a legally enforceable medical lien associated with the charges).

Thank you for asking. TBI settlement amounts vary greatly and are usually based on (1) whether liability/fault is clear (2) the amount of insurance available from the at-fault party, (3) Causation (i.e. whether your doctors support the claim that the TBI was caused by the at-fault parties actions, (4) the degree of the injury along with future prognosis (is it permanent?), and (5) the location where your case is pending. In most TBI cases, the best course of action will be to get an attorney that handles TBI cases in your state. Make sure you find an attorney that has experience with TBIs because they are usually more complicated than other injuries such as broken bones or torn ligaments. Good luck with your claim!
