I moved to Ukraine with a full battery, the dream in mind and recently my batteries have been at one of the lowest levels in my life, like never before...
Story:
Before the war in Ukraine, I had the idea to realize a dream that gave me hope in a difficult situation in my life. It was a hole with a lot of slime and mud that I wasn't going to get out of any time soon. And this one dream made me believe and hope again during this time. That's why I went to Ukraine before the war, bought an apartment, renovated it according to my wishes, three rooms, MUSIC, LOVE ART, each room had a special effect on me, on my ego. So my idea of what a happy life should look like. Adapt music, love and art into your life and your life will be worth living again, that's the idea.
I have implemented, tried, made and done everything, but with a country at war and no flourishing tourism, it's not that easy. I knew what I was letting myself in for, because I was going to a country at war, but I didn't want to let the war win, I wanted to give the people and myself hope with this project. What I got in return were a lot of positive experiences, as well as a lot of bad ones... I changed myself in some people and gave some people too much trust.
There was just too much crap, too much exchange and too little income. What I wanted to do was classic, first build a studio, then organize events and build on that foundation. But unfortunately I didn't manage to make a living out of it, because during the time I was in Ukraine, I wanted to make a living from the project later on. Somehow I also managed to keep myself afloat, cover my fixed costs, eat out from time to time, which was a matter of course for me before and a struggle at the time. At what a price, my God, and all for the love of music and art and the love of the dream. I decided to move on, somewhere where we can fill the cameras with life, where I don't get a headfuck from all the depressed people, from all the alarms, far away from the please.
At the moment I'm in Poland, working a bit and then in June I'm going to Suprise.
I will have to orientate myself a bit there, but then I will do the same as in the ukraine, only without the glass box). The project will continue in the Ukraine and I'm currently looking for someone who can manage it locally.
