MoYu Weilong WRM v10 Detailed Unboxing (All Versions)

  • In this video I unbox all 4 versions of the new Weilong WRM10. The feel is quite unique depending on which version you get, so make sure to pay extra attention to this!
    In particular the regular core versions are reminiscent of RS3, and the ball core versions are more similar to the v9/Super Weilong combined.
    They also implemented a new tensioning system which left me clueless in the video. Upon further inspection it seems similar to that used in the Tornado in which one direction adjusts the tension and the would be the magnet strength.

    Yes! Finally Moyu implemented the tensioning system that allows you to have perfectly equal tensions on each side without spending hours on tensioning your cube properly. Major improvement over the previous versions, screw the screws! Turning the white circle right makes the cube tighter, turning it left changes the compression. The other round ending on the tool is for removing the blue nut and thus taking the center off. The system is similar to the one in 356XS and Tornado v2-v3 and it's pretty intuitive.

    • @Mati1242
      @Mati1242 3 місяці тому +1

      @@FriskyPotat0 If you're talking about the "cog-like" wheel at the bottom it's just to indicate the tension you set. You adjust it by turning the white part as Antoine did. Turning counterclockwise adjusts compression( just like in previous moyu systems), turning clockwise adjusts tension.

    • @FriskyPotat0
      @FriskyPotat0 3 місяці тому +1

      @@Mati1242 ohhh ok… hope there’s some specific info on those pamphlets in terms of how to know what tension you’re at (as if the bottom cogs stay still and the top circular thing with the two notches is moving left for one thing and right for the other, how you’ll know what number tension and compression you’re at)

    • @Mati1242
      @Mati1242 3 місяці тому +3

      @@FriskyPotat0 If you look closely at 14:33 you can see that there are two little, pointy notches on the center itself pointing inwards. The cog wheel turns when you change the tension and whatever number on the cog aligns with these notches is the tension you're on. Super easy, I'm surprised Antoine hasn't been able to figure it out :D

  • @stikersapi

    by my observation, if you turn the new adjustment setting :
    1. Clockwise, it will change the magnet/spring strength settings (rotating the bottom part of the mechanism, pushing the "floor" up like the old mechanism)
    2. Counter-clockwise, it will change the "screw depth" settings (rotating the top part of the mechanism, controlling the "screw limit" like if you tightening the screw of the old mechanism)
