yo congrats to Steven on his full time job at thecubicle! It'll be nice to see him in future videos again (maybe more random fun videos like guessing the cube based on reviews pt 2? )😮
A hybrid between the GAN 12 and the Tornado V3 sounds promising. Can‘t wait for my bc spring version. And congrats to Steven on the full-time job. He‘s a great addition to The Cubicle team.
@@brandtfinchshould I go for the BC spring or maglev version? Most of my cubes are maglev and I like them very fast, but I’ve seen so many people recommend springs over maglev for these flagship cubes nowadays, so I’m not sure. What’s the benefit of springs over maglev?
@@alisyed294 The usual benefit of maglev over springs is less friction and no spring noise. If you do like Maglev I do think you should get that one, but if you think that Maglev cubes are way too fast and are bad to use I would say that getting the spring version is better. It is a matter of personal preference mainly.
I got this cube for my birthday and after treating it to the angstrom setup, it's instantly replaced my main, the TV3 flagship. I love how fast yet stable this cube is, the new adjustment system is amazing and this cube keeps it's shape so well. For me, this is the perfect cube. If you haven't tried this cube buy the spring version and even if it doesn't replace your main, you won't regret getting one, especially with the amazing price.
The cubing on the side should replace Subway Surfers completely. All jokes aside, thanks for the insight on the cube! It was fun to hear all the opinions as always
Been waiting for this vid for weeks! Love how in-depth the reviews were, especially with how different everyone found it from the V9. I’ll try it one day. The curse of the collector: I know I’m gonna get it eventually.
Actually, there's a solution to aggresive solvers's problem with the Weilong v10, that is remove the orange gear of the dual adjustment system and keep everything the same. I tried this way and it makes the weilong v10 less snappy, rigid, blocky and make it more flexible, has better corner-cutting ability yet bit more fluid. The downside to this method is that if you remove the orange gear, the dual adjustment would be useless so you cannot adjust the cube anymore. But maybe this solution will give you guys noticable and huge difference, so please try this method in a video!
I personally think this might be fine for someone like myself who uses a Dayan guhong v1 tightened about as much as possible as my “practice cube” to get better at precise turning
Like the TV3 (pioneer) and GAN 12 might suit me, but I turn aggressively, and I'm great with the V9. Should I get the spring bc v10 or the maglev bc v10?
I was outside of my country and preordered it waiting for it when i come back soon. I really like the feeling of the gan 12 but havent enjoyed the wrm v9 fully. I also enjoyed the V3 but wasnt performing properly. Maybe this cube is gonna do it
3:00 Said something with the exact same meaning though not exact phrasing "should have called it Aolong v4" in my unboxing. Saw Cubehead's video and his opinion is quite similar as well. Totally different mech.
I dont know why they made the repeling magnets smaller.cause i added extra magnets on the Edge and the auto alignment and the feeling in the cube has a much better feeling.dont know why they nerf it.and it helps the cube feel the 20 ball core more
Does moyu still have loose magnet problems like the V9 and the Aoshi had? Also, would the blocky and snappy qualities of this be comparable to the Guhong v4?
gan 11 vs tornado v3 vs gushing vs gan 13 I have 40 dollars and I need to know what I should get I have a tornado v3 standard and the magnets aren't what I'm used to I main the ys3m with angstrom combo w/ mystic I also looove the wailing v9 with the angstrom combo
Hey cubicle i just want to ask if the weilong v10 is good quality or durable because i have seen some videos of it breaking or popping after only limited use so i would just want to know your answer
The first one I got broke right away but I have a new one on order. The axes in the V10 is plastic rather than steel like the V9 has. I’m hoping there were just a few defective cubes from the factory and the rest are ok. I did read that you can take apart the cube by disassembling the adjustment system then removing that center piece instead of popping an edge out like normal. I will do this with the new one in hopes it doesn’t break
I've heard some people having issues with the core stems breaking. Has this been an actual issue or is it just some people getting really unlucky? Also f to the solve at the start
Hey. The best way handle this is to email customer service with your order number. We can use that to find your order and figure out what's going on. Hope this helps.
Like a GAN cube?!? Great, I definitely don’t want it, haha. Not to be rude, but GAN just never feels right to me. The only thing that intrigued me was when someone said it’s like the YS3, which is my main. But it doesn’t feel block to me, it is very forgiving and works with me the best. But I ain’t too fast, haha
Which V9 version did you try? The original ballcore is very different than the 20-mag ballcore imo. 20-mag is better for me as the magnets are not as strong and it’s more flexible/flowy imo.
@@actualglacier I agree, regular bc magnets are too strong. 20-mag is much better imo, but special edition 20-mag V9 is best. It has springs instead of maglev which helps stop overturning a bit. To each their own, I really like that one. Looking forward to trying the V10 if I get one that doesn’t break right away this time lol

I got the maglev one and then copied Luke Garrett's settings. This cube's blockiness is what makes it so enjoyable to turn. Easily bacame my main.
What are his settings!
Steven’s pyraminxes are so good, hope we’ll see more of them going forward
Unfortunately, as the DIY kits are very likely to be the only option going forward because it takes so long to make full puzzles

My wrm v10 has a really weird noise when i turn it but idk how to fix ut mine is maglev any suggestions?
Possibly a loose magnet? See if you can isolate a piece that is rattling
The 9.57 and 9.58 lokled Like the exact same solve by Steven

Get rs3m v5 for budget cube
@meraldlag4336 no. the standard rs3m v5 isnt great. get a tv3 or a rs3m 2020 or 2021

WRM V10 or RS3 V5 Ballcore
Is it stable as Wrm 2021?
Much more stable. The wrm 2021 is known for below average stability, not that it is a bad thing, its just an aspect of the cube
